I don't really give a fuck about psychology. I really don't. All I have left for this stupid semester is my final exam, but I can't even concentrate on it.

Sofia has been spamming me telling me to duet Charlie's cover of Kiss Me by Ed Sheeran on tiktok, but it literally doesn't make sense to do it. It's not like he'll see it and it's not like I have a good voice either.

My phone vibrates and I look at it thinking it's Sofia again, but gasp when I see what the screen says.

Haniyah has started a live video.

I quickly submit my exam without even finishing it and join the live. This better be worth failing my exam over.

I text Sofia telling her I submitted my exam without finishing it to watch Haniyah's live and she sends me a video of her laughing.

I send her a video of me sighing and rolling my eyes. Almost immediately she sends me a voice memo yelling at me to take off my smeared makeup before it gets in my eyes again. I sigh walking into my bathroom. I wipe my face clean and look down at the live hearing Haniyah start yelling.

"Mary, it may be your birthday, but your phone kicked you off the live four times now! One more time and you're done." Mary starts laughing and screaming.

"NO! No it's not my fault!" Haniyah just starts laughing then reads the comments.

"You should do a zoom. Oh my god! Mary, let's do a zoom!"

"What? No! We're doing my birthday live!"

"We can do a birthday party over zoom!" Mary sighs making me laugh. I check the snap Sofia sent me and roll my eyes.

Have you taken your makeup off yet? If mom starts yelling at you again and you cry, it won't feel good

Oh I know, Sof. I know.

"Haniyah, I said if I get kicked off live again!"

"I know! I'm just getting the zoom ready. I don't know how to work it so just shut up." I change into a pair of gray sweatpants and a tan cropped tank top then lay back down in bed yawning.

"Alright here's the code." I quickly type in the code not thinking I'll get in, but what's the harm in trying anyway.

"Niyah, what's the password?"

"There isn't one."

"Dude, it's literally asking for one right now."

"Wait really? Shit. Where do I find the password? Hold on. Okay new code guys." I laugh remembering how this felt the first time I used zoom and type in the new code and password.

I start playing the Julie and the Phantoms soundtrack on spotify trying to stay awake. It's only nine so it's not like I can go to bed yet.

"Hey, Kenedi." I look up quickly hearing Haniyah's voice. My heart leaps out of my chest seeing that I got into the zoom. No flipping way.

"Uhh hey." I do the little hand thing causing her to start laughing. She does it back causing Ryan to groan.

"NO. We are NOT doing this here."

"Ryan, shut the fuck up. I will kick you off."

"I'm going to get something." He grumbles and walks away. Well okay then.

My mom walks in and I immediately mute myself not wanting them to hear anything embarrassing on accident. She walks into the bathroom closing the door behind her and I sigh in relief quickly walking down to the living room. I sit on the couch and unmute myself.
