Kenedi
"I can't believe you made me get dressed up for this." He laughs holding his arm out to me. I sigh hooking my arm around his.

"You're the one who wanted to do the best friends four course challenge with me."

"Well I wanted to do it with you." He pecks my lips making me giggle. "Baby, you got lipstick on you now."

"So? You don't think red is my shade?" I roll my eyes smiling.

"Yeah okay. But before we leave, can we take some pictures?"

"I was already planning on it, sunshine."

After he finishes complaining about taking so many pictures, I post my favorite.

Kenedi_lov3ly: can't believe he made me dress up for this

I watch him immediately share it to his story captioning it 'It a compromise! I agreed to do this challenge with you if we could dress up for it.'

Before I can think of a witty comeback, he pulls me out to the car making me laugh.

"I'm hungry so let's go." We sit down in the car and I start playing my music then video us playing rock, paper, scissors. I chose scissors and he chose rock. "Alright. For our drinks, I choose Boba."

Ever since I got him to try it for the first time, he's been obsessed with it.

"Oh whatever, Charlie." I roll my eyes smiling and lean back in my chair just watching him drive. After we get our boba, we play rock, paper, scissors again and I win.

"For our appetizer, we are going to Olive Garden for breadsticks and salad."

"Why doesn't that surprise me?"

"Because it's all I've been talking about the past week."

"That is true. It's like your only craving." I shrug giggling.

"I could live happily with just you and Olive Garden for the rest of my life." He looks over at me smiling lightly making me blush. "What?"

"You have me for the rest of our lives, sunshine." He intertwines our fingers. I bite my lip nervously feeling my stomach drop.

He always says the right thing to make me feel sick to my stomach in a good way.

"Good because you have me for the rest of our lives, baby." He kisses my hand then pulls into the Olive Garden parking lot.

Surprisingly, no one noticed us. Not really sure how that happened, but I'm glad it did.

Once we get back into the car, we rock, paper, scissors and he wins.

"Sushi." I sigh not in the mood for sushi at all. "You can get soba."

"SOBA IT IS!" I'm not sure why, but beef soba sounds so good right now.

We jam out to the soundtrack on the way there, then I run in excitedly nearly tripling over my heels. I'm still trying to learn how to walk in heels. I'm not sure why I thought I could run in them.

It takes about fifteen minutes for us to be seated, but I don't even have to look at the menu. I already know I want beef soba.

Charlie tries to teach me how to use my chopsticks to eat the sesame chicken they brought out for us, but it just ended up with me stabbing both him and myself multiple times. I'll stick with my fork from now on.

As I nearly finish the entire bowl, I realize we still have dessert left.

"Where do you want to go for dessert?"

"I have no clue."

"Nothing really sounds good right now."

"Oh I know." The girl at the table next to us looks over at us. I smile lightly at her.

"Are you doing the tiktok challenge?" I nod smiling wider.

"Yeah. We got boba for our drinks, Olive Garden for our appetizer and now this for our entree." She makes a face seeing how much of my food I ate.

"You're still hungry for dessert?"

"Who eats dessert because they're hungry?"

"Yeah that's why you're not a size double zero." Ouch. I slowly put my fork down smiling tightly at Charlie.

He can already tell I'm hurt.

I just want to go home now. This was supposed to be fun, but now it's not.

"You don't have to be a size double zero to be beautiful, Kenedi."

"I know. I'm just gonna go to the bathroom really quick then we can go home." I walk to the bathroom before he can say anything.

I lock the door behind me and almost immediately fall to my knees getting sick. As soon as those words left her mouth, I felt queasy. I couldn't hold it in anymore.

I look at myself in the mirror frowning. My face is a lot chubbier than it was a month ago, but Charlie made me start eating more.

Not only more, but healthier too. You'd think since I started eating healthier, I would lose weight not gain it.

I chew on a piece of mint gum for a minute then spit it out and walk back to our table.

"Are you okay?" I nod smiling. No. I'm not. I'm so sad that I feel numb. It's hard to explain. "Kenedi..."

"I'm fine. I'm just tired." He hesitantly nods then pays for our food as I walk out to the car.

I start playing the playlist I made for Sofia and Heer and almost immediately, Prom Queen by Teen Beach Bunny starts playing.

I look out the window just listening to the words.

Double ouch.

Charlie gets in the car as soon as the song ends. That's probably a good thing because I already feel queasy again.

"So where are we going for dessert?"

"Can we just go home? I'm not hungry and I'm really tired." He stares at me for a while trying to read how I feel.

"I want a doughnut."

"Then get a doughnut?" I laugh at him.

"We're getting doughnuts then we'll go home." I sigh shakily knowing not to argue with him. He gets us a dozen glazed doughnuts and a cookies and cream milkshake for me.

I told him not to, but you see how well he listens to the word no.

As soon as we get home, I go to the bathroom and pour out the milkshake. I drank about half of it because Charlie was watching and I felt bad that he spent his money on me.

After I pour it out, I get sick again. This is not how I imagined tonight going.

Tomorrow I am definitely going to the gym. I need to stop eating so much and I need to start working out.

After I clean myself up, I wash the makeup off of my face and change into one of Charlie's shirts then crawl into bed.

Yeah that's why you're not a size double zero.
Yeah that's why you're not a size double zero.
Yeah that's why you're not a size double zero.
Yeah that's why you're not a size double zero.

The words keep replaying in my head as I fall asleep with tears in my eyes.
