Chapter Seventy-six

As soon as I get out of the car, Jeremy wraps his arms around me. I close my eyes feeling the burn in my nose again. I'm not going to cry. I've cried enough in the last twelve hours - I'm not crying again.

"I missed you so much." His voice soothes me as I hug back just as tightly.

"I'm so sorry." My voice cracks. You'd think I would have cried all my tears already, but apparently not.

"Don't apologize, okay? I understand. You needed time." I nods sniffling. "I'm sorry if I was too pushy."

"You weren't. I was just pushing everyone away again. I didn't even realize it until Charlie told me."

"So you two are okay?"

"We're perfect, Jer. Beyond perfect." He pulls back laughing.

"Carolynn, get out here before she starts telling me about their sex lives!"

"Jeremy!" I scoff hitting his shoulder. "If I were to tell anyone, it would be Carolynn and not you!"

"Ouch, Kenz." I giggle rolling my eyes. Carolynn runs over squealing.

"Kenedi!"

"Carolynn!"

"Jeremy!" We both look at him. "I just wanted to be a part of it too, okay? Jeez." I giggle shaking my head and hug Carolynn.

"I'm so glad you're okay."

"I'm sorry for going so awol."

"No it's okay. I promise. I was just worried about you." I smile lightly.

"I know it sounds bad, but it feels nice to actually have people worrying about me." Jeremy hooks his arm with mine as Carolynn holds my other hand.

"We're always here for you, babe. No matter what happens okay?" I kiss their cheeks then start walking towards the restaurant. I really have missed spending time with them.

"So you never told us about your sex life."

"Jeremy!" I scrunch my nose blushing. Carolynn nudges me smirking.

"How's the married life treating you?" I giggle shaking my head.

"Really good actually. He's more open to trying things now. I'm not really sure why, but I'm definitely not complaining."

"Okay but like...rings." I bite my lip looking at Carolynn.

"Definitely rings."

"Oh my gosh. Jeremy, please start wearing rings. I will do literally anything." He raises an eyebrow at the two of us then walks to the bathroom chuckling.

Carolynn and I walk over to a table and before I can sit down in front of her, she pulls me into the booth next to her.

"Okay so we have rings and obviously choking. What else?" I laugh awkwardly blushing deeply. This isn't how I imagined breakfast going.

"Sometimes he likes to blindfold me."

"Oh? And you like it?"

"Honestly? I really, really do. I just feel completely powerless. I like not being able to know what his next move is."

"That does sound hot."

"Oh it really is, but what's also really hot is that sometimes me makes me beg."

"No way."

"Yes way."

"I had no clue he was kinky!"
