Kenedi
I look around my room one last time smiling widely. I'm finally going home today and Charlie and I are getting married in two days. I'm panicking only a little bit.I slide the letter Charlie let me keep yesterday into my bag and slowly close the door behind me. Even though I wasn't here long, I got some help that I really did need and now I feel as if I'm ready to conquer the world.
Don't actually ask me to though. I'll probably break down crying.
"We're going home, baby." I smile down at my stomach gently running my hand over the small bump. I never really noticed my bump before. It's like it grew overnight.
I'm glad my wedding outfit will cover it slightly though. I don't look pregnant in it.
I walk towards the front desk where Charlie and Zion are. Zion walks up to me just hugs me. She always hugs me when I need it the most. She also just gives really good hugs.
"I love you." I laugh lightly reaching up on my tippy toes hugging her back just as tightly.
"I love you."
"I love you more."
"Zion, honey, how many times do I have to tell you that you're not going to win this argument?" She sighs rolling her eyes and pulls back.
"I know I know. You said Charlie is the only person you'd let win, but I'm determined to get you to let me win." I laugh shaking my head.
"Yeah okay."
"Also, we have a surprise for you."
"Oh?"
"Yeah. It's out at the car."
"You know I don't like surprises."
"Oh trust me, I know. You'll like this one though. I promise." I sigh shaking my head.
"Fine. But if I hate it, don't be surprised." She shakes her head laughing and drags me over to Charlie.
"Hi sunshine." He smiles at me holding his arm out to me. I breathe in his cologne cuddling into his side. He wraps his arm around me and kisses my head.
"Hi baby."
"How did you sleep?"
"Not as well as she will tonight after you two...get acquainted again." I look up at her with my jaw dropped.
"Zion!" Charlie laughs rolling his eyes still signing papers.
"She's not wrong." I whine hiding my face in his side.
"Charlie." I whine blushing. He's getting me too excited for this now.
"Yes princess?" He knows princess is one of my biggest weaknesses. I'm definitely killing him later.
Zion nudges me and gives me a look.
What? I mouth to her.
Princess? She mouths back. I scrunch my nose shaking my head.
I'll tell you later. She sighs rolling her eyes.
"I'm going out to the car so her surprise doesn't have to be alone any longer."
"Is it Shadow? Please tell me it's Shadow!"
"That's what we forgot, Zion!" I groan and huff cuddling into his side further.
"I can't read your mind, dude. Don't look at me, okay?" She holds her hands up then walks out of the building.
"I'm almost done, sunshine."
