"HE KISSED YOU!""I don't know why! But as soon as he did, Kenedi walked in."
"Holy shit. And I thought tv was enough drama." I glare at Madi.
"Now is not the time, Mads."
"Sorry sorry." She holds her hands up in surrender. "What are we going to do?"
"Well, Sofia and Kenedi need to talk."
"There is no way she'll talk to me after she saw Charlie kiss me." I sigh nodding. She's right.
"Okay. Sofia, you need to go fix the wedding book."
"Why?"
"Just do it. Please. That was my prize possession." She rolls her eyes and walks back to the guest room. I look at Madi smirking.
"Why do I feel scared?"
"Because we're going to lock Sofia and Kenedi in the room together so they'll talk."
"Isn't that going to end badly?"
"Maybe. Hopefully not."
"Okay let's do it. It can't get much worse than it is now." I nod agreeing.
"Okay so how should we get Kenedi into that room?" We take a second to think before Madi speaks.
"Oh! I could tell her that I need her help with something and ask if we could do it privately."
"Okay, but whatever you say needs to be good because she isn't in the mood to talk to anyone."
"Oh that's easy. I'll just say I need advice on how to flirt with a girl."
"That's literally perfect." She winks at me.
"I'm just that good." I laugh rolling my eyes.
"Okay go get her. I'm going to get a chair to jam the doorknob with."
"Okay. Let's do this!" She runs back to the master bedroom. I quickly grab a chair from the dinning room and wait until I hear Kenedi speak.
"Madi, what the fuck? Why is she here?" Madi closes the door quickly holding it shut. I wedge the chair under the door and sigh seeing they can't get out.
One point for me. Zero for Kenedi.

Kenedi
"I SWEAR TO GOD WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE, I AM MURDERING BOTH OF YOU!""What's going on?" I can't even look at her. I know she didn't do anything wrong, but every time I look at her, I see him kissing her.
I see everything I wish I could be.
"LET ME OUT!" Sofia walks over and tries to open the door, but it doesn't budge.
"What the fuck, guys. Open the door." I look away from her holding my chest. I'm going to be sick.
She runs over and grabs her garbage can and hands it to me. I hold it to my chest getting sick.
"Shit. Shit. Shit." She leads me over to her bed. "Are you okay?"
"Does it look like I'm okay?" She frowns. I feel bad now.
"That was a stupid question. I'm sorry."
"Sorry for kissing my boyfriend?"
"You broke up with him, Kenedi." She's not wrong. And he was the one who kissed her. She didn't kiss back.
"Don't you think I regret that?" She sighs shakily hesitantly sitting down.
"I wish Owen did."
"Why do you still want to be with him?"
"I love him, Kenedi. I will always love him." I look down knowing how that feels. "I don't know why he kissed me, but I'm sorry. I didn't kiss back."
"I know." I smile sadly at her. "We're just bad for each other."
"No you're not."
"How does everyone see everything we've been through and still think we're good for each other?"
"Because you love each other. Love is never easy, but it's always worth it in the end."
"How am I supposed to trust him again?" She sighs shakily.
"I really don't know, Ken."
"How are you able to just trust Owen again?"
"Because I know he'd never hurt me unless he had another reason for it."
"Heer said that your mom told him he's not good for you."
"W-what?"
"She wrote him a letter saying you dropped out of school and stuff."
"I didn't though! I already finished with all the credits I need so I'm just not finishing this semester. I technically already graduated high school."
"Does he know that?"
"Honestly, I never thought to tell him." I look up at her smiling lightly.
"You really do love him, don't you?" She smiles sadly.
"I love him so much it hurts." I sigh shakily knowing exactly how she feels now. I feel bad for everything.
"I'm sorry, Sof."
"I am too."
"Why are you sorry?"
"Because Charlie kissed me. Because I let our friendship slip through the cracks. Because of everything that's happened."
"You shouldn't be sorry for that."
"Why are you sorry?"
"I'm sorry for not trusting your judgement. I should've listened to you and supported you. I should've been a better friend."
"If it had been the other way around, I can't say I wouldn't have reacted the same way, Ken." I smile lightly feeling better about it now.
"Really?"
"Honestly, if Charlie were to come in here right now and beg for you to take him back on his knees, I'd tell you not to."
"You would?" My heart breaks just a little more hearing her say that.
"I would. But I also know that when he kissed me, it didn't mean anything. He has a reason for doing it."
"I don't want to know the reason."
"Did you ever tell him you're pregnant?"
"No and I'm glad I didn't."
"Why?"
"I don't want to be with someone that doesn't love me."
"But he does."
"If he did, why would he kiss you after I mentioned that he said he fucked you?"
"Woah woah woah. What?!" I sigh setting the garbage bin down.
"I said that Owen wasn't good for you and he asked why we're still together. I asked what that meant and he said I told him I didn't love him. I said he also told me that he cheated on me with you and then I broke up with him."
"And you gave him back the ring."
"Not until he asked for it. I didn't mean to break up with him at all. I was just upset that he wasn't listening to me."
"You weren't listening to him either."
"I know that now...communication really is our weakness." She smiles sadly at me knowing how that feels. Communication is both of our weaknesses.
All I know is that I've missed talking to my best friend.
