The man in the mask

Chills ran down Ranboo's spine as he stared at the figure. They tilted their head to the side.

  Ranboo stepped in front of Ghostbur, this was more to stop him from walking over to try to say hello than to protect him considering he was already a ghost.

  Silence filled the air as Ranboo met the masked figure's gaze.

  Suddenly they quickly moved behind a tree and out of sight.

  Ranboo quickly swung around and grabbed Ghostbur's hand, "We have to go, " Ranboo said.

  Ghostbur nodded and continued to take Ranboo to Techno's house.

Ranboo was constantly looking over his shoulder, his eyes darted from side to side looking for any signs of anyone.

  The cool air whipped at Ranboo's face, the wind blew hard in the extremely cold place but luckily for Ranboo and Ghostbur it was not snowing as neither of them could really be in the rain or snow.

A house came into view and with it three people.

The green hoodie, Dream was standing there talking with two people, Techno and-

Another chill ran down Ranboo's spine, this time not from the cold air but the figure who stood there.

The same masked man in the red hoodie.

The man in the mask seemed to be the first to notice Ranboo and Ghostbur, and quickly seemed to take of something he had been wearing around his neck and shove it into his hoodie pocket.

He turned to face them causing Techno to also turn around, a lot later than the masked man so Ranboo and Ghostbur stood pretty close to the three.

Dream watched with not much of a reaction, Techno however reacted much different.

He quickly used his sword to throw snow up into Ranboo's face, he staggered back slightly.

Techno used the opportunity while Ranboo was slightly disorientated to knock him to the ground.

When Ranboo jolted his eyes open again the first thing he saw was a dark purple sword pointed at his neck.

He began to panic, he looked between Dream, Techno, and the masked figure.

"What should we do about this? Should I kill him?" Techno asked Dream.

Panic flooded Ranboo, was he going to die? He had all three of his lives but he certainly wasn't looking forward to losing one.

"No, let him be, " Dream said, Ranboo was relieved but confused.

Why was Dream letting him live?

"Dream, we can't have him going and telling everyone where I am and that you're here, " Techno protested.

"Well you don't need him dead for him to not talk, " Dream replied, "A dead man tells no tales, " Techno said back.

The entire time the masked man stayed silent, simply staring at Ranboo.

Despite not being able to see his eyes or really much of his face at all, he could still almost feel his eyes, staring at him.

Ranboo never liked when people stared at him, an enderman thing he guessed.

"Well he has all three lives, you kill him it will be a bigger problem, he'll just respawn back in L'manburg and go tell everyone." Dream explained.
