  Ranboo sat in his house, his cat laid on him.

  He was insanely stressed, the encounter with Dream replayed through his mind like a broken record.

  He looked around, he was worried about Tubbo, he still hadn't seen him since Dream told him Tommy was dead.

  But Tommy wasn't dead, Ranboo knew that.

  He was almost glad he hadn't seen Tubbo, looking at his sleep-deprived and sad face, all he would want to do would tell him that Tommy wasn't dead.

  That would make it worse, wouldn't it?

  Was think he was dead better than knowing he betrayed him?

  He couldn't imagine being in Tubbo position, sure he was panicked and stress but he can't come close to thinking how Tubbo could be feeling.

  Locked himself in his house, he probably thinks it was his fault.

  But who's fault was it?

  The obvious answer was Dream.

  But there's never just one person to blame.

  Ranboo thought, he knew who's fault it was.

  It was his.

  More than anyone's it was his fault.

  He had burned down George's house with him.

  Tommy took the blame, why would he take the blame?

  Guilt overwhelmed Ranboo, thinking over every little way that he was responsible.

  A tear ran down his cheek, it burned.

  Ranboo had scars on his cheeks from crying, it burned, one of the things he hated about his enderman origins.

  Ranboo pet his cat and picked it up placing them to the side where they wandered over and laid on a chest.

  He stood up, his white shirt covered in cat hair, he brushed some of it off.

  He looked outside, it was mid-day, Dream wouldn't be stupid enough to make a move mid-day.

  He opened his door and peered around the corners making sure no one was around.

  Confirming that Dream wasn't standing at his door he stepped outside.

  The slight heat from the rays of sun were comforting.

  He walked around constantly checking behind his back.

  He half hoped he'd run into Eret again, he seemed friendly enough.

  He walked around for a while, didn't know what he was doing, just walking.

  He didn't know what about it was comforting but it just cleared his mind.

  He spotted a large stone tower in the distance, he knew Tommy had built it, even if he couldn't remember much it was practically impossible to forget Tommy's obsession with stone towers.

  He didn't know what it was marking though, just a tower on the outskirts of a spruce forest.

  Curiosity got the better of him and he decided to go investigate.

  Every time a branch would snap under his four or a bird take off near him, Ranboo would jump.

  Every little sound scared him, constantly worried someone was there.

  He finally reached the tower, it was truly nothing special so he decided to look around it.

  He made his way over to a hill, Ranboo noticed a gape in the dirt big enough for an average height person to fit through.

  He walked over and ducked down to get inside, there wasn't much there just some furnaces, an enderchest, a bed, and a crafting table.

  He walked down the stairs.

  A dimly lit cavern came into view.

  Lanterns hung from the ceiling but it was still very difficult to see.

  He was careful not the trip and made his way to the bottom of the ravine.

  He had a strange feeling like he was being watched or followed.

  His boots met the cold stone with a click.

  He didn't like the feeling, it felt more and more like someone was there.

  He turned around, almost immediately falling over in horror, "boo,"

  The voice was easily recognizable, one of the few voices he couldn't forget, "Techno, " he whispered to himself.

  Techno quickly disappeared into the darkness.

  Ranboo backed up, he looked from side to side not seeing anything only hearing Techno laughing.

  "Now, how long do you think I can mess with you before killing you, " Techno laughed again.

  Ranboo walked backward, his back hit against the wall of the cave.

  "Well, now you've just pinned yourself into a corner, " Techno pointed out.

  Ranboo realized that Techno could see him but he couldn't see Techno, giving Techno the upper hand.

  Ranboo walked forward and almost immediately was thrown against the wall again.

  He shook as his eyes met Techno's.

  He breathed heavily.

  Ranboo was pinned against the wall face to face with a man who wanted him dead and could easily kill him.

  Ranboo had no clue what to do, he could try to kick Techno away but it probably wouldn't work, and even if it did he wasn't faster than Techno.

  His eyes darted around trying to look for a way out.

  "Wow, you look absolutely terrified, I'm starting to think you may be scared of me, " Techno sarcastically said.

  Ranboo looked back to meet his gaze.

  "I'm sure you know why I'm here, " Techno said.

  "I know something I shouldn't, " Ranboo answered.

  "Correct, now I can't have you-"

  "I already told you I'm not telling anyone, I've been quiet so far, "

  "Yes but you're word doesn't ensure you'll stay quiet, so I'm going to make a deal with you, " Techno looked annoyed.

  "What is it?"

"It's simple, you don't talk, I don't kill you, " Techno said.

He moved his arms, no longer pinning Ranboo against the wall.

"Sounds more like a threat, " Ranboo joked.

"Threats are just aggressive deal-making, " Techno responded.

Ranboo laughed slightly, it was almost like Techno didn't try to kill him a second ago.

"So do we have a deal?" Techno asked.

"I'd rather live, so yeah I guess we do, " Ranboo smiled.

Techno nodded.

Techno turned around, "Oh yeah, and you can assume don't tell anyone about this either, especially Phil, he'll tell and me for trying to kill a child again, " then Techno disappeared again.

Ranboo laughed but was soon hit with the realization that he almost just died.

He sighed and began back up the stairs.

"No more walks, " He whispered to himself.
