"Tommy we both agree we're in the right?" Tommy and Wilbur stood out in a forest, "Y-yea," Tommy hesitantly said, "Then let's be the bad guys!"

Tommy jolted awake. His breathing was heavy, he stood up. He had been having the same nightmare almost every night since his exile.

It was still dark out, he walked over to the shoreside, he watched the waves came in and out.

The sun began to rise, Tommy stood up walking back over to his tent. He sat down staring at the picture of the Christmas tree.

He thought of what his friends might be doing, he thought of Fundy, Quackity, Tubbo, he wanted nothing more than to be back in L'manburg with them.
__________
Tommy didn't realize how much time had gone by since he had been staring at the photo.

He stood up again, the sun had completely risen. Tommy walked around not completely knowing what to do. He heard a voice behind him, "Hello Tommy," He turned around.

Dream stood there a smile on his face, Tommy looked at Dream with pure hatred in his eyes, "You know the drill," Dream held out his hand.

Tommy sighed taking out a sword that he had just made and gave it to Dream. Dream smiled, "So have you gotten any visitors lately?" Dream said clearly just trying to make small talk or upset Tommy, "No," Tommy replied, "Hm, that's a shame," Dream turned to leave, "Well I'll take my leave now," Dream turned to leave, "Wait," Tommy said feeling immediately embarrassed after.

Dream turned around to face Tommy, "Yes?" He asked? Tommy stood there for a second feeling embarrassed, "I-it's really lonely here, c-could you stay for a while?" Tommy felt extremely embarrassed expecting Dream to laugh at him, "Sure," Dream seemed slightly annoyed but to Tommy's surprise agreed.

Tommy did small tasks around his base while talking to Dream, Dream answered his questions but looked slightly annoyed the entire time.

Tommy felt weird talking to Dream considering the two had been enemies from day one. Eventually, it began to get dark and Dream went back to the Dream smp land, although Tommy still hated Dream's guts, it was nice to spend a day not completely alone.

Tommy watched as Dream set off in a boat, maybe he wasn't that bad.
__________
Fundy looked off towards where he had seen Dream take Tommy. He felt bad for him, a greeting from behind him caught Fundy off guard, "Hello," Fundy turned to see Ghostbur who stood there with a sweet smile on his face, "Oh, hello Ghostbur," Fundy looked off to the side, "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, why do you claim that my mother is a fish," Fundy asked.

Ghostbur laughed slightly, "Well I don't remember much but I do remember that."
__________
Wilbur sat in a chair outside, reading a letter from his father. He looked over to see his young son sitting staring at the river.

Wilbur smiled at Fundy, he walked over and joined his son in looking at the fish that swim past. Fundy smiled widely not taking his attention away from the passing salmon, "Mom," Wilbur was taken off guard by this, "What?" Fundy stared at the fish, "Mom," Fundy repeated his tail wagging back and forth.

Wilbur thought, the boy really had no mother. Wilbur had found him as a baby alone, he had adopted him as raised him as his son. Fundy never had a motherly figure in his life only Wilbur, "Yeah, I guess."
__________
Tommy once again sat alone. He looked on at the sea, he wished he was looking at L'manburg, he wished Tubbo was sitting with him.

He thought of his brother Wilbur and his father's friend Techno, one had gone insane and the other one betrayed him.

He thought of Tubbo, he had chosen his country over Tommy. Tommy didn't know what to do, "Dang it must be pretty depressing here for you to not be talking," Tommy didn't turn around, he recognized the voice.

Dream walked over and sat beside him a smug look on his face.

As Tommy stayed silent the look slowly faded from Dream's face, "Wow, really not gonna talk at all?" Dream looked at Tommy, "Maybe if some asshole wasn't preventing me from talking to anyone," Dream smiled again, "They can come to you, you just can't go to them," Tommy looked to the side, "Have they not been visiting Tommy?" Dream pretended to act surprised, "N-no," Tommy replied.

Dream turned to Tommy, "Do you want to talk about it?" Tommy looked at Dream surprised that he was showing sympathy, "S-sure," Dream sat and listened as Tommy vented. By the time Tommy had stopped tears were running down his face. Dream smiled and held out his arms inviting Tommy into a hug.

Tommy looked at him funny, "Is this a trick?" Dream laughed slightly, "No, I just want to help," Tommy looked at Dream he hesitated for a second before throwing his arms around Dream.

Dream smiled maliciously as Tommy sobbed into his green hoodie. Tommy pulled away realizing that he had just been crying to Dream, his enemy, the reason he was here.

Dream smiled at Tommy, but was it Dream's fault? Tubbo was the one who exiled him. Tommy looked back to Dream, "You're my only friend Dream," Tommy said, "You're right, I am."

If you can't tell, Dream isn't just being a nice guy. He is completely manipulating Tommy into believing that he can trust him.
I wanted to do a bit of a backstory for Fundy because I had come up with the idea of Fundy as a child believing that a fish was his mother and Wilbur just going along with it because he didn't want to crush Fundy's dreams of having a mother.
I also thought it would be a good idea to bring a bit of wholesomeness considering the rest of the book has just been Tommy being depressing
