Blood on the Roses

  His legs trembled.

  Scarlett blood hit the ground and seeped through his shirt.

  When he had asked Eret if it hurt when Wilbur had killed them.

  They had told him no.

  At this point, Ranboo thought they had either lied, or his injuries were much different from Eret's.

  His breathing became heavy and shaky.

  "Ranboo!" Tubbo yelled in horror.

  He wasn't able to support himself any longer.

  He collapsed.

  Laying on his back, in the worse pain he had ever been in.

  It burned, feeling like he was being cut by the sword over and over again.

  Although thinking about it he wouldn't have done it any different, he was willing to die for Tubbo, he was his best friend.

  His vision became blurry and his ears rung.

  He still had some visibility but the ringing had become so bad he could see Tubbo's mouth moving frantically but couldn't hear a word he was saying.

  He felt two hands on his shoulders, although he distinguished a sharp pain as something pushed against the wound.

  Dream?

  Why was he trying to save his life while he was the one who had struck him down?

  He let his head fall to the side as he met Tubbo's horrified and tearful gaze.

  He smiled the best he could as everything faded to black.

Dream sat his head on his hands and his mask sitting beside him.

"Are you okay?" George inquired.

"I've been better, " Dream murmured.

He sighed, lifting his head up.

"How's Sapnap?" he asked.

"He's still not awake. He saved my life, if he hadn't stopped fighting with Eret I probably would have died, " George uttered.

"Sapnap is a good man, a better one than me, " Dream said.

George nodded.

"I'm gonna go check on Sapnap, I'll be back, " George said.

Dream nodded and brought his head back down to his hands.

Once George had left Dream smiled.

He lifted his head.

  "gullible, " he commented.

Giggling slightly he glanced to the side.

His eyes met an old-looking book.

"You can't change the future."

Ranboo snapped awake.

  He was breathing heavily.

  "Ranboo!" Tubbo darted over to him.

  He looked around.

  Realizing he was inside his house.

Tubbo stood by his side, Eret smiled walking over.

  Although Fundy just stood there leaning against the wall, his eyes narrowed as he watched Ranboo.

"You idiot, why the hell would you do that!" Tubbo had tears in his eyes.

"Hey, Tubbo look at me, " He said, "I'd do it again, I care Tubbo, I'm not going to let you die, " Ranboo smiled.
