"Strange creatures we are, Dremons, we're said to be a bit insane, I don't think I'm insane, do you think you're insane?" Dream spoke.

"No, of course not, I'm not even a Dremon, " Ranboo was quick to dismiss this.

"Well, now you just lying, " Dream chuckled

"N-no, I know that, I know that I'm telling the truth!"

Dream cocked his head to the side, "You don't know what your other half is, why is it so hard to believe?" He smiled coldly.

"Because I would know, wouldn't I?" Ranboo realized his argument made less sense than he thought.

He really was a Dremon wasn't he, that was why the word seemed familiar, everything tied together, Dream was telling the truth.

The sound of the door opening pulled Ranboo out of his horrified thought.

"Wha- where did they go?" Techno spoke from upstairs.

"Oh, they're downstairs, hey Phil!" Ghostbur answered.

Ranboo felt more relieved than he ever had, although he knew not to get his hopes up, Phil may not be there to help.

Dream flashed another cold smile before brushing past Ranboo and going back upstairs.

Ranboo stood still, still trying to comprehend what he was just told.

He heard someone coming down but didn't turn around to look, too wrapped up in thought.

"Hey Ranboo, " Phil spoke behind him.

  "Hello, " Ranboo turned around.

  "You alright?" Phil looked concerned.

  "Yeah, " Ranboo replied.

Phil didn't seem to buy it but didn't bother him further, "Come on, I've convinced Techno to let you go back as long as you don't tell them about what happened, " Phil explained.

Ranboo smiled and nodded.

The two went upstairs.

"Wilbur remember, don't tell anyone about this, and please, don't bring anyone else to Techno's house, " Phil told Ghostbur.

Ghostbur nodded and smiled.

Ranboo met Dream's cold gaze, his eyes not visible but he still could feel his eyes fixated onto him.

It remained this way until he left the house.

Three days later
__________

Three days had pasted since Ranboo came back to L'manburg, three awful, awful days.

Ranboo was a very empathetic person, if someone around him was upset he would be too, whether he knew the reason or not.

He would honestly rather be sad himself than other people be.

This is why this whole situation bothered him so much.

He felt like such a coward, he knew if he told Tubbo Tommy was alive then maybe he could stop him from what he was going through.

Tubbo, poor Tubbo, his whole world was falling down around him.

Ranboo stood up suddenly, in a cold sweat he shoved the chair back.
