The Raven and The Wolf [discontinued]

We All Knew It Was Coming.

Hello!! Been a while! And Unfortunately, I come baring no good news. As we all know, I'm not active on Wattpad anymore. Sure I peek my head in every now and again to update y'all but I am just not active here anymore. And with that, I've been claiming this AU to be "on hold." I think I've known for a long time I was never gonna resume it, I just didn't wanna admit it since this was my first Dream SMP fic and for the longest time, I was completely in love with it. But, let's face it, I was so new to writing when I started this that now that I look at it, it's unsalvageable.
So, this is my official farewell to this AU. Sorry to anyone who was actually enjoying it and hoped I'd come back someday but, unfortunately, this is how it has to be.

But! I figured I'd give you my plans for where I wanted to take this AU!

I had five more chapters and a sequel planned.. yes... a sequel...

  The first chapter was named "It's all Futile! It's all Pointless!" (Yes, Lovejoy reference in there) And just mainly consisted of the days leading up to the "final battle" (I cringe to say) from the L'manburg people's POV.

The second one was named "Theseus" and was pretty much the same thing as the last one just from Wil, Tommy, and Dream's POV. Some nice Crimeboys moments in there and I guess some Wil and Dream shit. (I think I had some big monologue between the two planned but I don't even remember what it was about.)

  TW for suicide in the next one.

  The next two were broken up into two parts but I'm just gotten to give them both here. So they were both named "It Was Never Meant to Be" just with a "part 1" and "part 2" (I think I broke it up into two parts because I had some epic cliffhanger planned or something, who the fuck knows) and that was the "final battle" chapters. I guess shit just kinda went down. Ranboo and Dream ended up fighting separately somehow (omg, so dramatic and poetic /sar), and wow, somehow Ranboo, with the magic of plot convenience, beats Dream. Of course, Dream does his little monologue about the revive book and how he could bring back Eret (literally forget Eret died until I was writing this..) and ends up in prison instead of limbo because for some reason I decided I needed a sequel-
The second half was via Tubbo's POV. Fundy is beating the shit out of his father over there so they're kinda Fundy and Wil are kinda out of the way. Leaving Tommy and Tubbo to be all dramatic, because if there's one thing that's consistent in this fic, it's the fucking. Drama. Anyways, a bit of tussling later Tubbo casts his sword to the side and tells Tommy that he refuses to fight him. Instead of Tommy murdering Tubbo like he's been trying to do the whole fic... he just kinda smiles... because that makes sense (/sar). And once again by the magic of plot convenience, he's standing on the edge of a nether cliff. (Did I mention this took place in the nether? No? Well. It did. I guess-) and I can't remember if anything else led up to this or if it just kinda... happened? But Tommy says the iconic phrase — "it was never meant to be." — and throws himself off the cliff...

 

  ...OKAY THEN.

  Yeah.. it got dark quick and I don't even know what to say. It was honestly very out of place and I guess I just wanted the shock factor or something?

  Well. The last chapter is just the wrap-up. It was named "A Bittersweet Goodbye" and consisted of Tommy's funeral and Ranboo deciding to leave L'manburg and move in with Phil and Techno. He tells this to Tubbo and Tubbo takes it well, he helps Ranboo get his stuff to go and there's a bittersweet scene where a teary-eyed Tubbo makes Ranboo promise to visit every day. They hug, and Ranboo leaves. All's well that ends well. Dream's in jail. Wilbur just kinda disappeared after witnessing his brother's death (it was explained in the sequel but eh, I won't get into that.) And Ranboo was happy just chilling with Tech and Phil and visiting Tubbo every day as he promised...
  

  THEN BOOM THERE WAS SOME BIG DRAMATIC CLIFFHANGER AT THE END SETTING IT UP FOR A SEQUEL BECAUSE I HAVE ATTACHMENT ISSUES.

  I'm not getting into the sequel. Just know its name was "Saving Sanity" and although better than the original, it was still fucking dumb.
  And for my Eret fans, yes, they were revived in the sequel.

 
  And well.. that marks the end of this horrid, horrid journey.

  And all jokes aside I truly love you guys and I'm sorry to disappoint. Maybe I'll rewrite this one day, but considering to make it half decent I'd have to rewrite the whole plot. But hey, and dumb and bad as this AU might be, it does hold a special place in my heart and maybe it deserves a second chance.
