Dream walked beside George, George still looked uncomfortable, Dream picked up on this. "Everything okay George?""I don't know... Dream you scared me back there... the look on your face... the things you said... It was disturbing," George muttered.
Dream froze, George stopped walking as well, "I'm sorry George, but I promise this is all for the best. Me and Techno's deal is beneficial to everyone, I know I may have come off harsh but I needed to convince Techno. I hope you understand." Dream had a small comforting smile on his face.
George looked to the side for a moment before looking back to his masked friend and smiling slightly, "yeah... Yeah, you're right, I suppose I was overrating."
Dream put a hand on George's shoulder, "Come on, let's go."

Present-time
__________It had been a week.
One week since Eret had died.
One awful, awful week.
Fundy laid on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. Nothing really went through his head as he stared off.
A soft knock echoed through the house. Fundy didn't speak nor did he move, just closing his eyes and hoping whoever it was would go away.
A second round of knocking rang, this time followed by a voice, "Fundy, it's Ranboo, I want to talk to you."
Fundy sighed, slowly getting up and rising to his feet. He slowly walked over to the door, turning the handle and opening it ever so slightly. Just enough that he could see Ranboo and Ranboo could see him.
Ranboo looked at Fundy, concern laced his soft gaze. His eyes traced Fundy who looked like a mess. His hair so tangled and frizzy he looked as if he hadn't touched it in a week (which wasn't far from the truth.) Bags rested under his eyes from the sleepless nights, he wore an oversized grey hoodie and a pair of sweatpants.
Ranboo didn't look too amazing either so he had no right to judge. Although Ranboo's slightly unkempt hair and causal clothes were not nearly as bad as Fundy.
"Can I come in?" Ranboo asked, his voice was sweet and calming but it still carried a sorrowful tone.
Fundy didn't say anything, but he did open the door the rest of the way and stepped aside, silently inviting Ranboo inside.
Ranboo hesitantly stepped inside.
Fundy walked over sitting down on his bed yet again, Ranboo walked over and sat beside him, placing a hand on Fundy's.
"I know you're in pain Fundy, I wanted to give you time alone because I figured you probably didn't want to talk, but it's been a week since you've left your house now and I got worried."
Ranboo waited a moment for Fundy to reply but after he was met with nothing but silence he continued.
"Fundy, I don't know your pain, and I'm not going to pretend that I do. I'm not going to go on about how I'm just as sad as you and how I understand how you feel because I don't know what's going through your head. I miss Eret, I do, I miss them more than anything. Right now I would give it life to hear their voice just one more time..." Ranboo stopped for a moment, he sounded as if he were fighting back tears.
He took a moment, calming his breathing and regaining his composure, "And I've never felt this awful in my life. But I know that everything I feel is a thousand times worse for you. I knew Eret, Eret was my friend, but, you knew Eret better than anyone else, Eret was your friend, but Eret was also your father..."
Fundy tensed up at this, tears pooled in his eyes and he wrinkled his nose.
"I will never know your hurt Fundy, I will never know what's going through your head and I will never know the pain you feel... But please... Let me fix this."
"How!" Fundy snapped, "How the fuck do you expect to fix this!"
Ranboo froze.
"What? Are you gonna magically bring them back from the dead! This is the real fucking world Ranboo! Not some little fairytale where you sing a little song and all your problems disappear!" Tears raced down Fundy's face as he screamed.
Ranboo placed his hands on Fundy's, a calm look remained on his face throughout the yelling.
Fundy's angry gaze melted away, leaving nothing but regret.
"I know I can't completely fix things, I- I can't bring Eret back, I know I can't, I know they're gone and I know there's no changing that... But, I want to help you Fundy, I can't bring Eret back but I can be here for you. Eret's gone, but you're here, you're alive, and I can't bear to see you like this."
Fundy stayed silent for a moment before practically melting into Ranboo's arms. He broke down crying, burying his face into Ranboo's t-shirt.
Ranboo looked shocked for a moment but seemingly just accepted it. Wrapping his arms around his grieving friend.
He closed his eyes, dropping his voice to a hushed whisper, "It's gonna be okay, Fundy, it's gonna be okay... everything will be okay."
Fundy eventually managed to calm down a bit, slowly pulling away from Ranboo. He sniffled, wiping his eyes with his wrist. "I'm sorry I yelled, " he muttered.
"It's fine, you're under a lot of stress, it's perfectly reasonable for you to yell, " Ranboo consoled him.
The two stayed quiet for a moment before Fundy spoke, "You know... The last thing I ever said to tell... The very last thing I ever said to Eret... I called them a traitor... I told them they could never change and I told them..." Fundy trailed off.
"I- I'll never get to take those things back... I'll never get to tell them I'm sorry and I'll never get to hear their voice or feel their touch again..." Fundy muttered.
Ranboo placed a hand on Fundy's back.
"Fundy, I'm so sorry, " Ranboo said, "I'm so so sorry."
