"And you're just gonna let him go!" Tommy yelled. "Calm down, it's not worth it Tommy, " Dream said calmly. "What do you mean it's not worth it! He fucking killed you!" Tommy stood up abruptly.

"Sit down, " Dream told him.

"Don't tell me to sit down! You're not doing anything-"

"Tommy, calm down, " Dream spoke in a tone of voice that caught everyone off guard. George and Sapnap looked at each other for a moment before looking back at Dream. Tommy begrudgingly sat back down, his arms crossed and his face configured into a pout.

"Tommy does have a point Dream, are we really just gonna forgive and forget?" Sapnap chimed in.

"Purpled may have fired the bullet but Eret was the one with the gun, " Dream sneered. "So what do you suggest we do?" Sapnap asked.

"Kill Eret, that's what I suggest we do, " Dream said, getting straight to the point.

"Don't you think that's a bit... extreme? I mean they're on their last life if we were to kill them-"

"That's the point Sapnap, I need you to understand that Eret is a traitor and a nuisance. Tommy, you know what they did to you, " Dream looked over to Tommy who mouthed a set of words that Dream couldn't make out.

"And they betrayed us too, and now, Eret is trying to kill me, it's me or them, " Dream reasoned.

Sapnap looked off to the side, "He's right, " George said, "I've never been a big fan of Eret either."

"Where's Wilbur?" Dream turned to Tommy, diverting the subject.

"Not sure haven't seen him since yesterday, " Tommy shrugged. "I need him for something, " Dream said, "That doesn't change the fact I don't know where he is, " Tommy shot back.

Dream sighed, "I'm going to find him, " Dream said, turning around. "I'll come with you, " Sapnap stepped forward.

"You don't need to do that, " Dream turned back to face his friend. "Well consider half this server wants you dead I don't think it's the worst idea, " Sapnap chuckled.

"Fine, let's go, it's already getting dark out."

Wilbur tapped his foot against the ground as he waited, "Where the hell are they?" He whispered to himself as he grew impatient.

The noise of rustling caused him to tense up. But he quickly calmed down when he saw Eret peering around a tree, scanning the area.

"Where the hell were you? I've been waiting forever, " Wilbur complained. "Oh sorry, I was busy getting fucking stabbed, " Eret said sarcastically crossing their arms.

  "What! What happened?" Wilbur yelled.

"Shhh, be quiet, someone is gonna hear you!" Eret hissed. "Explain, " Wilbur snapped back. "Okay, okay, I lost a life, " Eret continued.

"What! Eret you're on one life!" Wilbur fretted."I know!" Eret said, their voice cracking slightly. Wilbur's surprised and panicked face melted into sadness, his eyes still wide. The two stared at each other in silence for a moment.

"I don't want to lose you, not again, " Wilbur uttered. Wilbur's words felt like a spear directly through Eret's heart. Again, that one word hurt more than a hundred arrows could.

"You won't, I promise, " Eret answered, placing their hands on Will's shoulders.

"How did you even lose-" Wilbur's sentence was cut off by a voice calling his name. "Wilbur!" Dream yelled from not too far away.

"Shit!" Wilbur hissed under his breath. "Hide!" he said to Eret. Without wasting a second of time, Eret darted into the surrounding trees. Sitting with their back pressed up against two large boulders.

Dream and Sapnap emerged into the clearing Wilbur was standing in, "Who were you talking to?" Dream questioned, a serious tone of voice.

"Myself, sorry, " Wilbur responded. "Don't apologize, " Dream said, sighing lightly.

"I need your help with something, " Dream continued. "What were you even doing out here anyway, " Sapnap chimed in. "It's a nice night, I decided to walk around and clear my mind, " Wilbur quickly fabricated.

"What did you need, Dream?" Wilbur directed his attention back to Dream. Dream glanced around, "It's getting late, we'll talk on the way back."

Wilbur glanced over his shoulder for a moment before returning his gaze to Dream and nodded.

"You don't want help?" George leaned against the wall, clearly not wanting to help despite offering it.

"To be honest Gogy, I'd rather stick a fork in my eye than do anything with you, " Tommy sneered as he flicked his hood over his head and grabbed his axe.

"Fair enough."

"Don't tell Dream I'm doing this, he'll be pissed, " Tommy turned back to George. "Why shouldn't I?" George jeered. "Holy fuck, you're annoying, " Tommy scoffed. "You're not one to talk about annoying, you admit you try to be annoying, " George said.

Tommy rolled his eyes, ignoring George, he turned away, opening the door and stalking outside, swinging the door shut behind him.

"Okay, where the hell is this asshole?" Tommy whispered to himself.
__________

After looking for hours, the sun had begun to rise and Tommy had about given up. He was tired and annoyed, but his stubbornness kept him going.

Finally, he saw Purpled walking along the riverbank. He adjusted his grip on the axe handle and sprung forward.

Although he must have made too much noise as Purpled quickly snapped around and despite panic or shock he sidestepped Tommy's strike and grabbing his arm. Shoving him forward, Tommy stumbled, almost falling into the water but he regained his composure and darted forward.

Purpled unsheathed a large hunting knife. Tommy lunged forward, he went to bring the axe down onto Purpled but he caught the bottom of the axehead with the hunting knife.

The position wasn't held for long as Tommy pulled the axe away for another assault. Before Tommy could even swing the axe Purpled kicked the back of Tommy's leg causing him to stumble forward.

Purpled took advantage of his disorientation, knocking to axe out of his hand and into the water. "Fuck!" Tommy quickly looked up only in time to catch a glimpse of the shiny knife blade the cut into his skin below his eye.

He stepped back, wincing in pain as blood ran down his face. He tried to throw a punch but all it resulted in was a missed hit causing him to stumble and another deep cut, this time on his lower arm.

Purpled used to back of the knife, hitting Tommy hard in his head. Tommy hit the ground with a thud. Warm blood ran down his face from where he was hit and the wound under his eye.

As everything blurred and faded to black Tommy heard one sentence come from Purpled as he walked away from the bleeding teen.

"I should have never have taken that deal."
