Ranboo's boots met the wooden path.

His trembling legs barely supporting his weight.

His shirt covered in nearly dried blood.

Tears burned as they ran down his face.

His head hurt and his eyes stung.

Every step he took was performed with difficulty.

Eret laid motionless in his arms.

  They'd be okay... Right?

If he got them to L'manburg and got help they'd be okay.

This was just like the time Tommy almost killed Tubbo, just like when Niki had almost killed Dream. So many people came back from things like this.

  Eret would survive.

  Eret had to survive.

Eret couldn't leave him, they promised they wouldn't. They promised.

  They had to...

  No.

  They wouldn't.

  They didn't.

They had been dead for the past five minutes.

  They weren't breathing.

  They were gone.

  They didn't survive it.

No little lies Ranboo uttered can change.

The wooden and stone buildings of L'manburg. He barely stepped a foot inside the bounds of L'manburg before he collapsed.

He dropped to his knees, his vision blurry.

  He closed his eyes.

"Eret... you said we'd be okay... please..."

Fundy leaned on the wooden railing. He sighed, staring off at the sky that was beginning to paint itself with the colors of dusk.

He flicked his tail back and forth. He hung his head. He heard footsteps but didn't bother to look.

"Hey? Are you okay? You look upset, " Tubbo sympathetic voice emerged. He walked over, putting a hand on Fundy's shoulder.

Fundy didn't look at Tubbo, just kept staring off at the sky, "Yeah I'm fine, just... a bit nervous."

  "Why are you nervous?"

"Take a look around us Tubbo, give me one good reason I shouldn't be nervous, " Fundy snapped his head up to look at Tubbo.

Tubbo was taken aback by Fundy's hostility. Fundy's gaze softened and he sighed, "Sorry, that came off harsher than I intended. If I'm being honest, I don't have much of a right to complain, you have it a hell of a lot worst than I do." Fundy laughed it off.

"Fundy..." Tubbo inches forward, he shook his head slightly and stood up taller than before, a much more confident look on his face.

"Fundy, just because someone may have worse problems doesn't mean yours don't exist."
