in which a normal girl transfers into a prestigious, private performing arts school in South Korea. Where she encounters an elite clique of dashing, popular high-achievers and finds love.
and did I say normal? I meant to say unusual, mainly because...
A/N: Since a lot of you guys wanted a continuation, we shall keep it rolling.
I want to say thank you so much on the love and support on this book. I remember writing it thinking it would never make it to 10k, but holy smokes y'all... we are at 41k. I'm honestly so grateful and appreciative all of you.
Yes, I do think I'm at the oscars lol. I do want to mention that a lot has changed in the setting of the book. The year is currently in 2021, so everything that happened before was obviously years ago. I do want to mention bring in some new characters because we do love that. Maya is now 25 and Yoongi is 29 or 30.
I also wanted to try something different, I wanted to a do a every once in a while "READER CHOICE". Meaning there would be a situation in the book, and at the end of the chapter, I would ask... "should Maya be with...." and the readers would decide.
Without further or a due.
Let's get into "Just On Day"
-
After the death of their unborn child both Maya and Yoongi went their separate ways. Yoongi took over his father's business, and became one of the richest entrepreneurs in South Korea. He spends most of his nights overseas stuck in meetings, doing everything he once hated.
Maya, however... moved back to the states and decided to figure out life on her own. She hasn't spoken to either of her parents since her departure from South Korea. Also leaving behind her friends. She moved to North Carolina, where she studied at Duke University. Ever since going back to the states, she kept a low profile... She surprisingly changed her art major to a health science major. She currently upholds a degree for a registered nurse.
Since leaving Korea, Maya promised herself that she would change her life around, start a new life. She got it. But what she forgot was your past always catches up to you.
Whether you try to run from it or not.

Maya's POV
I continuously checked my Apple Watch for the time. My eyes shifted back and forth to the road and back to the patient as I sat in a ambulance.
"Vitals look okay," Aaron , a student nurse assistant said shining his pen light into the patient's eyes.
Aron was about two or three years younger then me, as his senior, I was supposed to be training him. I say supposed to because there is only so much I can train him on, let's just say the medical field isn't for everyone.
