I exited the doors trying to leave this damn party. Emma and her big ass mouth ruined everything, he probably doesn't even want to marry me anymore.

I struggled to make my getaway, my damn feet were killing me. I looked down realizing it was these stupid heels, that had my feet all swollen and shit.

tryna go up in there looking like Beyoncé, come out looking like Michelle. "damn shoes" I say having enough and just bending down to take them off.

I heard the door open from behind me causing me to speed up the process. "Maya!" His voice called out for me.

At this point fuck them shoes. I tossed them to the ground as I hear footsteps approach, I walked barefoot towards the front door ignoring the thought in my head telling me to stop.

Running.

I looked up to see Lee, "leaving so soon, Ms. Brooks?" He asks with a welcoming smile.

Before I could answer, Yoongi does for me. "Shut the door now!" He raises his voice and like being told Lee did.

"tell him to open the door, Yoongi"

I say lowly. I didn't want to see his face, I don't want to know what he was thinking. I just wanted to get out of here.

"No" His footsteps stop not to far behind me.

"No?" I ask.

"You and your damn running. Do you want to be a track star or something? I mean why must you run away from me every time something like this happens?" he asks.

Something like this?
He sighs, "and now, you won't even look at me" he mentions slowly causing me to turn around and see him standing there.

He was also surprisedly holding the heels I just kicked off.

"W-what did you want me to say, Yoongi?" I asked him.

"I don't know, anything. Not just run off" he says having a point. My eyes look everywhere to avoid his, but his eyes were glued on me.

"is it true? That you're pregnant?" He asks. I understand his curiosity of wanting to know the truth.

I slowly nod before letting out a deep breathe, "I-i was going to tell you" I confess.

"When?" His tone was calmer then I expected him to Handel he situation.

"When the timing was right" I tell him truthfully.

"You're pregnant" he says slowly I'm guessing still trying to process the fact that he was going to be a father.

I stood in silence not sure of what to say, or how to make this moment less embarrassing and awkward.

"You're not mad?" I asked hoping he wasn't. I really wasn't mentally prepared for another argument, at least not tonight.

He smiles at my question, "that you're pregnant and that I'm going to be a father?" He asks.

I nod.

"A little surprised but no I'm not mad"
