I thought maybe my eyes were deceiving me. It wasn't possible that the girl who was so in love with Yoongi 6 years ago, suddenly teamed up with his crazy ass brother to take him out.

Jhiyo says to me causing me to let out a deep sigh, I roll my eyes looking at the girl from my past, that I wish would've stayed in the damn past. Whether it was Yoongi's bloodline or exes, he sure knew how to make someone wish they never got involved with him.

Nothing normal has occurred to me since I met him, now that I start to think of it.

"Hello, Jhiyo. Long time no see." She greets Jhiyo who just like me was surprised to even see her. She turns her attention on me as stands close to Christain, she lets out a sigh before speaking.

"And Maya, what a pleasure to see you again. Last time I heard from you, you were busy running into traffic and getting hit by cars. Very theatrical of you, don't you think." She says smiling ear to ear.

Wow, even after all this time she's still bitter over the fact that yoongi chose me instead of her.

I let out a chuckle, "Me? I mean last time I heard you were pretending to jump off buildings because of your affection towards a man who wanted nothing to do with you. Let me guess, you decided to team up with Chris here due to his mommy issues and hatred of the world, to take revenge because you still hold a grudge?" I spat.

She laughs looking to Christian who found humor in this as a while before turning back to me, "what the fuck is so funny?" Jhiyo asks looking between the two.

"Is that what you think this is about? Maya, I have nothing against you, honestly. Believe it or not, the days of me wanting affection from that broken miserable man is way over." She starts.

She paces as she continues, "I mean after you left Korea... Yoongi was no longer the same meaning; I had no choice but to realize what really mattered most to me." She stops before turning in my direction.

"His name." She finishes.

"What the hell is this bitch on?" Jhiyo questions me and all I could do was shrug.

"His last name was what I wanted. The name that is so powerful, and the money that would've come along with it. That very same name my family was depending on. For years, we waited, and I can assure you it wasn't just us... It was a lot of people who were depending on him and me to get married. So, you couldn't imagine the number of people that were angry when that didn't happen. Thousands of people lost their jobs, some even died because of his decision to chase love instead of doing what he was supposed to do!" She raised her voice.

Doing what he supposed to do? God, she sounds just like his deranged mother.

"I can't believe this is actually happening right now." I hear Jhiyo say as she shakes her head in disbelief.

Who would've thought me sitting down at this man's assigned table on my first day at a new school would have caused me to go through so much shit.

And imagine this isn't even my first time getting kidnapped because of him.

"Alot of things were ruined because of you, Maya." Christain states causing me to roll my eyes.

"Give me a break, my god. You hate me because you think Yoongi caused the loss of your mother because of me, and she hates me because she thinks I'm to blame for her and yoongi not getting to the honeymoon phase, I get it. Do I have to remind you that you two weren't the only ones who lost something? If you did all this to try to get me to feel sorry for what has happened over to you two over the past 6 years, I can tell you right now that both of you have wasted your time." I rambled on quickly.
