"I shouldn't take long"

"It's okay... I'll be waiting out here for you." He tells me, smiling softly before caressing my cheek.

I nod before getting out the car and walking into the hospital. Out of all of the days, I decided to come back on the same day I was kidnapped and Woo-Jin being admitted into the hospital.

I enter the cold and nosy hospital, my eyes ignore the stares and glances from nurses, doctors and patients who looked at me.

"Nurse Anderson?"

A voice caught me out my thoughts causing me to turn and see Soo-Jin standing there, she was pushing a wheelchair patient.

"W-what are you doing here? Are you okay? What happened?" She asks me looking me up and down.

"Woo-Jin... Dr. Seo, is he okay?" I ask her ignoring her questions.

She nods, "he not only has a sprained ankle but also a concussion, he lost a lot of blood but the doctor said he'll be fine after a couple days of rest." She explains causing me to sigh in relief.

Thank god.

"What room is he in?"

"He's in 301. But he was given sleeping meds to help with the pain so he's probably out like a night." She informs me.

"Oh okay, thanks." I tell her honestly and start to turn around when she stops me, "a-are you okay? You don't look okay." She says worrying about me causing me to stop her.

"I'm just tired."

"Then why are you back here? You should go home to rest, I'll tell your team to help cover your rounds and shift." She tells me.

"They're still here?" I ask causing her to nod. It was late so I had assumed they had went home like they usually do.

"Thank you, Soo-Jin. I'll talk to you later if I can." I say before rushing off towards the nurses lounge. I walked down the hallway passing the double doors, turning the corner and moments later I entered the room.

My eyes met with Edison first who stood there mid way as if he was about to say off the coat. My eyes scanned the room realizing they were all here, all tired and all looked as if they were getting ready to go home.

I look to Aaron who sat in the chair refusing to even look me in the eye.

"Maya?" Sarah voices cracks causing me to slightly smile. "h.hi you guys." I say.

Seconds later Tracy and Sarah ran towards me hugging tightly, causing me to relax a bit. At least in front of them I didn't have to pretend to be so tough, not anymore.

"I-I you're okay." Tracy says with tears forming in eyes, I slowly nod. The girls parted from me but still looked at me, minutes away from crying their eyes out.

"What happened to you? Lee said that you and Woo-Jin getting taken by some men and then hours later.... we get a EMT report that there was a male patient bleeding with low vitals, but none about a female?" Edison asked me with a tone.

He obviously was being protective which was understandable. "It's a long story..." I tell him.

"You sure do have a lot stories, don't you." He states before pulling me into a hug and I force a laugh to fight back my tears.

Before I could say something, Tracy turns to Aaron who just sat there. "What is wrong with you?!? Maya's back, why are you acting like that!?" Tracy raised her voice at him.
