"he asked you to what?!?" Emma raised her voice as I explained to her everything that happened yesterday as we stood by my locker.
"come your voice down, would you?" I say looking around to notice people looking at us. I'm not sure if people knew but somehow I felt as if they knew something and that's why that kept staring at me.
I shut my locker in annoyance. "I know it doesn't make sense right?" I say.
"And what did you say?" She asked as if she honestly didn't know my answer.
"I said no"
She turns to me. "What?" She ask as her eyes enlarged. As her and I continue to walk down the hallway making our way to lunch.
"I'd either be blind or stupid if I said yes"
"So your telling one of the most popular guys in school happens to offer you a once in lifetime opportunity, to be his girlfriend... he'd buy you things and even take your family out for dinner and your answer is no?" She asked making it seem like I gave up the best thing that was ever going to happen for me.
"Not exactly"
"Well... what did you tell him?" She asked wanting more detail.
"It went along on the lines of "I won't date a narcissist like you".... "I'm not a stripper so throw your money at me"..... "the deal we had is over" pretty much" I explained.
It was like her mouth had dropped to the ground, "your ridiculous" she tells me.
"For having standing up for myself. I'm not like every girl here who kisses his ass. I don't kiss ass, I throw it" I smirk causing her to laugh.
We walk into the crowded cafeteria and for the first time it was like no one paid attention to me. It was like I was a regular person attending here, just like the rest of them.
"So what are you doing later on today?" Emma says changing the conversation as we were in line getting our food.
"I'll probably be home, doing homework. If not, probably watching Netflix. Why?" I say grabbing a tray.
"I was invited to this birthday party tonight and wanted to know if you would come with me, since I'm in a fight with RM. I just really don't want to go alone" she explains.
"When aren't you ever in a fight with him" I say causing her to nudge me.
"But yeah. Sounds cool. Just let me know when your picking me up" I say.
"Okay. It's a formal event. So wear something expensive or even the most fancy looking" she tells me as we took our seat at an empty table.
I smiled at the presence of Jimin. "hey" he smiled sitting down holding his lunch.
"hi" I say.
I watch as Emma exchanges glances between the both of us."Where have you been? Your always playing hide and seek and being so mysterious" Emma points out to Jimin which is true.
"I was with your boyfriend. He was helping with this test, I have next period" he explains as if he already prepared to answer that question.
Now that I think about.. she's right. I happened to be pulled out my thoughts when I heard screaming meaning F5.... oops I means "Fab Five" we're coming again.
I aggressively stuffed my mouth with the ramen, "did girl, slow down. It's not going anywhere" Emma jokes causing me to fake a laugh.
