I sighed in annoyance opening the hotel room door , noticing the two guards from last night standing there guarding the outside.
"Where you off two?" Jin asks leaning against the wall. I haven't even walked out the room and I was already annoyed.
"None of your business" I say shutting the door walking past them. I bit the inside of my lip to ignore the fact that the guards and Jin were right behind me.
I pressed the elevator button waiting for the elevator to be open. Of course to be annoying Jin started to whistle knowing that I'd better me.
Knowing I'd probably snap or complain, I decided to not ever deal with them. There was no way in hell they were following me around all day.
I had a plan. Whether Yoongi liked it or not, like I said before I will not be controlled.
The door finally opens and I step inside followed behind me was the guards and Jin.
"Oh my god" I say pretending as if I had forgotten something.
"What?" Jin asked alarmed.
"My phone. I must've forgotten back in the room" I lie as I turn to the guards who looked at each other.
"we'll meet you all downstairs" Jin tells the guards as he walks out the elevator with me.
The nod and the doors shut, Jin and I walk back to my hotel room. I swallowed hard, hoping I wouldn't be regretting this.
I eyed the door to the stairs at the end of the hallway. I pretended to reach to grab the hotel key, when I then turned and pointed behind me.
"Yoongi?" I asked pretending as if Yoongi was actually here causing Jin to turn around in confusion, allowing me to take off running towards the stairs.
"Shit" I hear him say as I enter the staircase. I rush down the stairs quickly, I heard footsteps following me as least two floors above me.
Luckily my mother only stayed on the fourth floor, meaning it wasn't long before I made it to the lobby.
I pushed the door open running out quickly, my eyes scanned the area to see the guards standing and waiting by the elevator.
My eyes widen noticing a empty cap sitting outside in the car pool of the hotel, like it was calling my name.
"Maya!" I hear Jin's voice call out from behind causing me to quickly run out the lobby.
I quickly rushed to the cab, I opened the door quickly getting inside catching the driver off guard.
"where too?" He asks my eyes fixated at both Jin and the guards who were exiting the hotel now.
"502 n university drive. Please" I tell him the address of my small time job noticing that Jin realized I was in the cab.
Did I forget to mention in the meantime while being here, I started working at a hardware store. I used to work here all the time in the summer, that was before I moved to Korea.
The driver nods, and drives out of the carpool causing me to sigh in relief. I was proud of my last to be honest, getting away that easy.
I knew it wouldn't belong before I get a phone call from Jin or Yoongi. It's only a matter of time.
After about a 30 minute drive, I finally arrived at the plaza where I worked at.
"thank you" I say giving the driver the total amount for the fare. I exited the car walking on the sidewalk of the building.
I entered the building, announcing my arrival with the sound of the door bell ringing.
"Morning" I say with welcoming smile.
