(SIMON'S POV)

I layed there on my bed, waiting for sleep to come over me. But every time I closed my eyes, a picture of Evelyn popped up in my head. The fear in her eyes after I slapped her, the pained expression, and the tears rolling down her cheek.

It was so painful to watch.

To be honest, I was beyond angry with her when she said she left for the summer, but the more I thought about it, the more I understand why. She was already dealing with a lot in school, and I was just an addition to it all.

It was my fault.

After ten minutes, I gave up trying. I got out of bed and headed downstairs to make tea. While the water was boiling, I heard a soft knock on the door.

I slowly got up and opened it, reavealing Evelyn.

"Hey Simon, long time no see." She smirked. Moments later, Todd appeared behind her with a knife in his hand.

I parted my lips to speak, but before I could, I felt a sharp pain on my head, and everything blacked out.

(EVELYN'S POV)

"Oh! You must be Harry! Evelyn's boyfriend!" Grams exclaimed.

I turned around and smiled as she planted a kiss on his cheek.

"You better keep her happy or I will beat you up!"

I giggled, catching everybody's attention.

"Good morning gorgeous!" Harry smirked, bringing his lips to my cheek. I blushed and turned to grams, who was wiggling her eyebrows at us.

"I don't want to ruin the couple moment, but baby Charlie and James are coming to visit! Get breakfast ready dear, I need to talk to your boyfriend here."

I smiled and pecked his lips again before bolting into the kitchen, only to be greeted by Ashton and Mason setting up the table. I grabbed a carton of eggs, and a few bowls before heating up the stove.

Mason didn' t look as happy as he did yesterday, instead, he had a worried look in his eyes. Each time he landed his gaze on me, he starred for a while before turning back,

I wanted to ask him what's wrong, but I shrugged it off, not wanting to upset him anymore.

When everyone arrived, I was greeted by the cutest little boy in the world.

"Charlie!"

"Auntie Ewelyn" He squealed, leaping into my arms.

I giggled and planted many kisses on his nose. "I miss you baby, have you been listening to daddy?"

He nodded proudly. "Daddy bought me a puppy! But he won't tell me where mommy is."

As soon as he said 'mommy.' I felt my heart drop. I was about to put Charlie down when Louis, Harry, and James emerged from the porch.

"Oh my gosh! Who is this little guy? I bet he doesn't like cookies!" Louis teased.

Charlie's face lit up as he reached his hands out to Louis, who graciously accepts it.

"Hey Eve."

I turned around and smiled at my friend. "Hey James, how's it going?" I asked, hugging him.

He buried his face in the crook of my neck and shook his head. "I have to tell you something later."

After we had breakfast, Mason and Ashton took grams out grocery shopping while the lads had a dance party with Charlie.
