(EVELYN'S POV)
"What are we?" I asked with as much authority as I can.
Harry froze for a second but regained his cool.
"I don't know. Do you?"
I shook my head as well. "No, I don't."
An awkward silence was shared between us before he got up and told me to follow him. When we got into my bedroom, I noticed the aqua dress laying on my bed. He picked it up and handed it to me.
"Harry, what are you doing?"
"Just wear this and meet me downstairs in fifteen minutes." He replied.
"Wha-" I started, but he stopped me. "Just do it, then we'll answer your question."
I was utterly confused, but went along with it. Ten minutes later, I was dressed in the gown, a pair of flats, curled my hair, and added a pinch of make-up.
Harry must've changed in another room, because when he greeted me downstairs, he was dressed in a white button down shirt, and jeans. His curls were more tamed than usual, making him unbelieveably sexy.
"I don't want to stop you from checking me out, but we should go."
I fixed my gaze on the ground and blushed. "I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about."
He smirked and held out his hand. I gracefully took it and followed him out to his range rover.

"Harry, it's been twenty minutes, please tell me where we're going!"
He sighed and came to a stop. "Well, I'm not gonna let you miss your homecoming."
Suddenly, I felt uneasy. "I don't want to go to the dance."
He chuckled. "Who said we were going to the dance?"
"You did?"
"I said homecoming, but I didn't say which one." He remarked.
I scoffed and pressed my lips together.
"Then where exactly are we going?"
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out. " He replied before turning on the radio.
We sat in the car for another half an hour until we finally stopped at a meadow. I turned to him and gave him a funny look.
"You drove for 50 minutes just to come to a meadow? You know it looks like Uncle Simon's backyard, except it's all grass right?" I laughed.
He smiled, showing his adorable dimples.
"I have something planned, just go along with it and stop commenting."
I shrugged and got out of the car. We linked arms and walked further into the field until we reached a pond. The water was glistening and there were a few toads jumping around on the lily pads.
"What is all this?"
He stopped and turned to face me. "This is a peace offering. I know what happened a couple days ago really hurt you. I didn't know what to do.. I mean after we kissed, I was so confused, and I couldn't get my feelings straight. I just wanna apologize, and hope nothing changes between us, I really like you Evelyn, and not talking to you really kills me. I know you're not into this cheesy stuff, but I feel like it's the only way to let you know that I am truly sorry. I honestly just want- "
I couldn't help but laugh as he rambled on and on.
"Haz, take a deep breath and calm down."
