Zion barges into my room and I scowl at him for not knocking before entering, "Someone is at the door for you."
"Who?" I question.
He cocks an eyebrow at me, "Does it look like I know?"
Curious about who would be here at this time of night, I quickly make my way downstairs where I find Logan standing in the doorway. He looks up from his phone when he hears me approaching, giving me a bright smile, "Hey Sugar."
"Logan, what are you doing here?"
He holds up my backpack that I forgot all about, "sorry I didn't drop by sooner, busy day." I nod understandingly and take it from him, swinging the backpack over my shoulders. "How are you?"
"I'm good," I smile and relief washes over his face.
"I was worried about you all day," Logan lets out a breath. "With everything with b.b. then finding you with that Kashton guy. I thought he might have done something-"
"Wait hold up. That was Kashton with me?"
"Umm, yeah?"
Why would Kashton want to help me? I mean I know we were getting on good terms but not only why but how did he know what to do? Embarrassment fills me and I can feel my cheeks start to heat.
"Hey Vayda," Lennon enters the living room. "Just warning you that Dayton is asleep so quiet down. If that kid wakes up he's your responsibility." he looks from me then over to Logan and I roll my eyes at my brother when he narrows his gaze at him. "Who's this?"
I look up at Logan and he smirks at me before swinging an arm over my shoulders, "Lennon this is Logan, Logan this is my brother Lennon."
"Nice to meet you," Lennon doesn't reply, only folds his arms. "I better get going, I'll see you tomorrow Sugar." he kisses my cheek and winks at me, I scoff at him and push him out the door.
"I don't like that dude," Lennon says when I shut the door. "Is something going on between you two?"
"Chill," I laugh and fake gag at the thought of me being with Logan. "He's just trying to get on your nerves. Nothing is going on between us, Logan is gay." His face softens. I snort and push his shoulder as I walk past him, "Night Lennon."

I used to love to read, I did it all the time. I would read as a distraction from everything. It was like I was entering a completely different world and it kept my mind off of things. I wish it was still like that but now I have a hard time reading.
I always get distracted when reading and I can't even read a full page. It's like when you are reading, your eyes are scanning the words but then you flip the page and have no idea what you just read.
I used to read when I couldn't sleep at night, It was something to help me pass time until the morning or I fell asleep. That tactic isn't useful anymore.
That night, I toss and turn in bed, having a hard time trying to even get comfortable in bed. I lay on my right side, nope. Left side, nope. Back, nope. Stomach, nope. Feeling defeated, I sigh and sit up, and pull out my phone to look at the time. 1:56 a.m. It's only two? I groan and flop back down.
