(Okay how cute is this puppy? He's adorable!)•••
Uitwaaien- To take a break to clear one's head; lit. "To walk in the wind."

As I sit on the same bench as last time, I bring my knees up and rest my chin on them, looking at the small puppy as he stares down a bird.
Yes, we have a puppy and no it wasn't my intention on bringing him here though when Lennon found out I was leaving for the park he wanted me to bring him too. I didn't really have a choice. I plan on taking him home after Kashton gets here.
Koda sits up and barks as another bird flies down next to the other. Once they both fly off he settles back down beings to gnaw at his collar.
I look off in the distance when I hear laughter. Down at the park, two little kids play on the playground, racing each other down the slides. Their little squeals of excitement fills the area.
Koda barks again and begins to run, the hand that holds his leash jerks but I don't let him go but try to get him to stop barking. I pick him up in my arms and look up at Kashton, he walks towards us with a grin and takes a seat next to me on the bleachers.
"I didn't know you had a dog." Koda squirms in my arms and I let go of him and he instantly goes on Kashton's lap. A smile plays on my lips when I watch Kashton laugh as Koda licks his face. "Hi buddy," he looks down at Koda's name tag, the bright smile still on his face.
I stand up and run a hand through my hair. "You ready to go?"
"Are you going to tell me where we're going?"
"Nope," I pop the p.
We take my car, leaving Kashton's at the park. Koda plops down on Kashton's lap once again and makes no move to leave his spot. I smile and the pup is asleep in an instant.
After quickly dropping him off at home, we're off driving the short ten-minute drive to our destination. Kashton keeps asking where we're going but I only smile and tell him no questions.
I guess he's not good with surprises. I wouldn't call this a surprise though, I guess he's not good at not knowing where we're going.
Minutes later I pull into the parking lot and Kashton raises an eyebrow at me as he looks at the restaurant in front of us. "Aww, Vayda are you taking me out on a date? I'm flattered."
I roll my eyes at the smirk that is plastered on his face. "Come on Prince Charming."
I get out of the car and start walking towards the entrance. Kashton looks up at the building then over to me, "seriously what are we doing here?"
"Patience," I tut causing him to send me a playful glare. "I thought I told you no questions."
"I'm convinced that this is a date and you were just scared to ask me out," he teases.
"Shut up," I smack his arm. "This isn't a date. We won't even be in the restaurant."
That only adds to Kashton's confusion. We walk into the building and I look around, we walk up to where we're met with Addy. She looks up and my eyes brighten when she sees me. "Hey Vayda, you looking for Michael?"
"Yep," I laugh.
"Vayda!" Michael walks towards us with a bright smile. Him and his wife Addy bought this restaurant about a year ago. I guess there's been some perks of family owning a fancy restaurant like this.
