Violet POV:

"Ah!! Excuse me!-sorry!-I didn't mean to run into you-please get out of the way!" I called out to the crowded city street of scared civilians as I ran after a feral, flaming man child Dabi.

"Oi. Get the hell out of the way, fuckers. Or, don't. I don't give a shit if you wanna get roasted, too." Dabi cackled, immediately lighting up his entire arm with blue-before abruptly shooting his flames towards our target, Harima, a few feet in front of us, without warning.

This newfound partnership of ours is starting off nicely!

"Oh my gosh!!! You can't just do that!!!" I yelled out in panic, watching the residuals of Dabi's blue flames heading straight for a little ice cream shop on the corner.

Gritting down on my teeth, I immediately aimed both hands at the ice cream shop, shooting a thin coating of crystals onto it to try and shield the building from being burned.

I held my breath as the flames slammed into my crystal shield, honestly preparing for the worst possible outcome.

That is, until the initial swelter of blue extinguished away after a few seconds to reveal my crystal wall completely melted and destroyed-and the ice cream shop completely unharmed and safe.

Oh my god.

It worked?-it worked!-

"Running in a zig-zag won't help, old man!" Dabi called out to Harima's sprinting frame, giving no regard for anyone else in his way as he began throwing balls of blue fire to try and hit Harima on the crowded street.

Okay. So, he's going a little too fast for me.

"Wait, Dabi!" I called out, immediately putting up crystal shields in front of all the people and buildings his uncontrolled fire was about to destroy.

But, of course, the psychotic burnt man was on a mission now, keeping his blue eyes locked on Harima as he disappeared further and further into the crowd of people-simply shooting more fire like a wreckless jackass to try and force him out.

Like that will work.

"Slow down!!! I'm literally trying to beat your fire to the punch with my crystals! I can't keep up!" I yelled at him in slight panic, barely able to even aim my shots in the correct places as new flames began popping up everywhere.

It's a miracle he hasn't killed anyone, yet-

"If you can't keep up, then leave. I don't need you slowing me down." He called back to me without even looking in my direction, carelessly shooting another fast flame towards Harima-who was now crossing the street.

I gasped in pure panic when our sleazy target of a man dodged the flames-causing the lethal fire's path to continue its way through the crosswalk and point blank towards a woman and her child in a stroller.

My heart picked up it's pace by three times as I shot a heavy wall of crystals directly in front of the woman and her child, feeling absolutely horrible about her terrified shriek as she collapsed to the ground in cowering fear for the trauma.

But, regardless, my crystals took the entire brunt of the impact, causing me to let out a heavy sigh of relief for saving the innocent pair-

"Woah! That woman just saved all these people with her crystals! Who is she?! A hero?! A villain?!" I heard a scared citizen ask a few feet away, making me remember that Dabi and I were matching in all black attire, with our face masks back on our faces.
