~ Ten Years Later ~

3....2....1.......

"GO!!!!" I heard ring through my ears as Cementoss pummeled down the steel door of the 'abandoned' warehouse.

It's official. The raid has begun.

"Everyone ready yourselves!! We capture The Jeweled Villain, Midas, here and now! It's been months of trying to track this guy down, and we can't let him run free any longer. Detain him at all costs!" Endeavor stated through the little radio in my ear, causing me to quickly pick up the pace of my run and practically dive into the warehouse head first.

Sure, I've done this 'raid stuff' quite a few times by now. Does that mean I've become graceful about it? No. Does it mean I'm finally not nervous to go and fight some villains? No! Does it mean that I still feel like I'm going to simultaneously hurl and shit my pants from fear?

Absolutely!

But, then again, we're only on this raid today to capture one single man, 'Midas.' How difficult can it be?

"Endeavor, this entire situation has suddenly become extremely more difficult!!" Fat Gum called out through the shared radio transmission, before I finally got a good look at the inside of the warehouse, myself.

And, what do you know? Rather than capturing this lone man, Midas, there were about twenty other people here-who have already been engaged in their own battle, before the heroes even showed up today.

The warehouse was meant to be pitch black with the disguise of night, but the two story building was lit up like a broody Christmas tree with the insane amount of quirks that were firing back and forth around the premise.

Yells, shrieks, and explosions filled the airspace, while blood splattered the walls. Yet, none of these attacks were being directed at us heroes

That's even more ironic, considering the surprise visit of all these extra people belonged to, none other than-

"The League of Villains! Hey, why is the league here? This raid's about capturing Midas, not them!" Present Mic exclaimed, deciding to ignore the league for the time being and attempt to find the mystery man, Midas, lurking around somewhere.

That guy is known to hide himself in the shadows pretty well. It's how he's able to catch his opponent off guard every time-how he's killed so many people.

"Don't know. But, we should probably focus on the task at hand and find the main guy, don't you think? Don't let him catch you by surprise." Eraserhead called out from next to me, starting to use his scarf to pull Midas' henchmen off the second floor balcony.

I inhaled sharply as I saw an array of indecipherable quirks charging straight at Eraserhead and I, quickly using my own quirk to shoot a wall of bright crystals from my hands to form a protective shield from the chaos.

Eraser looked over at me with a small nod of gratitude as my wall of crystals was immediately torn apart by the frenzy of quirks, quickly flipping himself over the remnants of the wall a few moments later to continue forward.

The league of villains were infamous, and so were their quirks. Upon looking down at my destroyed wall of crystals, I noticed that, out of all the quirks that broke it, none of them belonged to the league. All of the attacks had come from Midas' men.

It got me thinking...

"Maybe we should team up with the league to defeat this guy? After all, we've been trying to track him down for months with no luck. The league apparently seems to be in the same boat. If we're all after the same person, it seems appropriate to form a temporary truce, doesn't it?" I suggested, needing to raise my voice a bit to ensure I would be heard over the growing chaos of the room.
