Chapter 5:I Licked First

I heard her make a bunch of noise in her room and it sounded like she fell trying to get dressed, I just laughed. I finished drying my hair and just let it lay with a natural curl

I walked down to the living room to see everyone starring at me. "What" I said walking over to my chair and sitting in it

"Care to explain" Tony said looking at me

"Don't worry its not like last time" I said laughing and looking into the kitchen, "I licked and she wouldn't stop" I said looking at him again

"Gross you guys need to grow up" he said putting his hand over his eyes and shaking his head

"Okay besides the licking part what happened last time?" Clint asked looking at me

"Well last time we did that we flooded the entire floor" Nat said coming from behind me and giving me a smile

"Yeah thats why you guys couldn't come over for a week a few years ago" I said biting the inside of my lip and giving them a smile

"Oh that was you" Clint said laughing at me

"Yeah" I said joinging in on the laughter

Tony got up and walked into the kitchen before yelling my name, I looked up at Nat. "Uh oh" I got up and walked into the kitchen to see Tony standing looking at the water on the floor and counter

I grabbed a towel and threw it on the water "At least its not like last time" I said wiping the water up "God will you go away Nat is already killing my head I don't need you bothering me too" I rolled my eyes throwing more towels at the water to clean it up

He just walked out of the room, see last time we flooded the kitchen it didn't go well. Someone forgot to turn the water off and it flowed everywhere causing things to rot and fall apart. Tony got real mad and didn't exactly let me off with a warning

I was 23 when it happened but he still yelled like I was a 4 year old, I felt bad but at the same time it was pretty funny to see how red his face got. I swear if smoke could come out like in tv it would have

Nat didn't come back to the tower for I think like 3 weeks after it happened. I was thinking in my own head which is dangerous by the way, when someone crept up behind me and touched my shoulders. I turned around in a hurry ready to punch someone

To my disbelief Steve was standing there in shock, "I could have punched you" I said turning back around continuing to clean up the water

He flipped me back around so now I'm facing him "I don't think you would hurt me again" he said close to me. Our faces were nearly touching and I could smell his cologne it smelt like mint and it was amazing. It was like a drug that I needed in my life

OMG what is happening to me I am Victoria Stark, I don't need a man in my life to make it and if there was any man in my life it definitely didn't need to be Captain America

I heard him calling my name and it snapped me out of my daze "Victoria" he said now grabbing my shoulders and lightly shaking me

"Sorry what" I said looking at him confused

He just stared laughing "Would you like help" he said motioning to the towels

"Oh sure" I said pulling myself out of his grip and slipping on some water

I reached for Steve and he grabbed me but he couldn't stand up and he fell on top of me "Oh I'm sorry" he said getting up and helping me up

"Its fine" I said looking him in his eyes

I am tall for an average woman but Steve is tall even compared to me, we continued to clean up until there was no more water in sight. All the towels were soaked, I picked them up and carried them over to the laundry shoot where the laundry got sucked down to the washing room

I would do them later but I was to tired to do them right now and I wanted to finish up my project down in the lap before the day ends. I say nobody was in the tower any more they all must have gone home, I guess now that they know I exsist they could live here but Tony would have to offer that for himself

I walked down to the lab and got to work, I was mixing elements. When I spilled 2 and they mixed I went to clean it up and got it on my cloths and skin

I went over to wash it off my skin and cloths but it seemed to disappear, I thought it was weird but I brushed it off. I walked over to the chemical beakers and looked at the labels 'shit' I thought

The 2 elements that mixed were krypton and palladium, well if I had any side effects I would know soon. I sucked up the rest of the mixed elements and put it in a beaker labeled 'Tori's don't touch' I knew Tony would still probably touch and look at but he at least wouldn't know it got absorbed into my body

"Eli, No!" I heard Loki's voice shaking as he wept over my head in his lap. "Please Eli, I can't lose you, I love you!"

"I love you too. Eternally." I used all my strength in the moment, trying to will the words to come out louder, but they were still a mere whisper.

"Eli." His lips crashed onto mine upside down, all the passion of our time apart conveyed in one kiss. It filled me like lifeblood, and my eyes fluttered open.

"I'm fine, Loki. Promise." I started to sit up with his assistance and turned around to see those familiar green eyes boring into my very soul, filled with love and tenderness.

"But... how did you?" He asked, his hand running along my cheek gently, tenderly.

"I told you," I said, dropping the magical disguise I had clung to for oh so long and allowing the orange-red tones spread over my flesh, revealing the hot, blazing blue fire within my eyes and the flicker of light in my long red hair. "You could never hurt me."
