Chapter 9:Getting Ready

He came at me and I rolled out of the way, while his back was to me I thought of a plan on how I could take him down. While I was thinking Steve came at me again but I rolled out of the way and ran to the wall where I bounced off of it and onto the ceiling

He looked up at me and I dropped down behind him, he grabbed me and went to punch but I moved and spun us around. I put his arm behind his back and pulled a little before letting go, I went to punch him a few times but I always hit his shield and I wouldn't be lying if I said it didn't hurt. His shield is made of vibranium the strongest metal on earth. I did a few moves I learned from the boarding school and it shocked him "Did Nat teach you that?" he asked intrigued

"Yeah something like that" I said giving him a smile before tripping him and pinning his arms above his head. I sat down on his stomach and looked him in the eyes

"I win" I said laughing, he sat up and kissed me causing me to let go of his hands. He flipped me over so now he was on top of me and laughing more

"No I win" he said with a grin on his face, I rolled my eyes and man was that a mistake. He took my hands and put them above my head, he then kissed me

"That wasn't fair" I said once we pulled away from the kiss and got up

We stared into each others eyes, I could get lost in those eyes. I went to kiss him again but I heard something from the door, I turned around to see Nat wiggling her eyebrows

I put my hands behind my back and Steve grabbed them making little circles in the palm. I couldn't help but smile at first but then I looked back at Nat and saw her coming over to where Steve and I were standing

She grabbed my arm and pulled me out of Steve's grip, she led me out of the training room and back up to my room. Once she shut the door I just glared at her "Why did you do that?" I asked looking serious

"Tony was coming" she said giving me a smile before walking into my closet to pick out an outfit

"So I'm not afraid of him" I said walking over to my closet too "I could beat his ass any day I please" I could hear Nat chuckle "What you laughing about I could beat your ass too"she turned around and gave me a stare "You heard me" I said chuckling walking over to my vanity

I sat down and looked at my refleaction in the mirror, "I'm showering real quick" I said popping my head around the corner into the closet telling Nat. She was still looking at all my cloths

She didn't say anything, she just gave me a smile, nodding. I don't even want to know how Nat found out about my date with Rogers, I was in the nice shower thinking about what tonight could bring. Maybe we would fall in love, or become official, or do it. The truth is I'm nervous for tonight but excited at the same time

I finished up in the shower and got out drying my hair and throwing on my robe. I walked out to see an amazing outfit out on my bed and Nat smiling drinking some fruity drink "Can I have some?" I asked

She looked up at me and shook her head "No you need to be sober for your date tonight" she said giving me a smile before pointing to the outfit

I went over to the bed and looked at the outfit, I didn't know where we were going or what we were doing so my outfit had to be practical. The outfit was blue ripped jeans with a black belt, the shirt was black that hanged off my shoulders. I had a black purse that fit my wallet and phone so I didn't have to carry them, and the shoes were black heals with a strap around my ankle. I threw my hair in a high pony putting the look all together

I walked over to my vanity and threw on my normal makeup look, I like to do. Its a golden eyeshadow with pink around the edges blending in with my skin tone

I looked at Nat and she sets her drink down before clapping and giving me 2 big thumbs up, "You look amazing" she said giving me a smile

"Thanks" I said walking over to the fridge grabbing some juice and sitting next to Nat, if I can't have alcohol I might as well have something to drink. "You think Steve will like it?" I asked looking down at the floor

For some weird reason I feel like I need to impress Steve but I know he doesn't care about that, he just wants me to be happy. Which is a main reason why I'm giving this man another chance

I look at my clock and it said 8, I look at Nat and give her a smile "Okay its time" I said motioning to the door

She put her cup in the sink, I would wash it tomorrow or tonight when ever I get home. I watched her walk out of the room and see Steve standing in the doorway. He was wearing some black pants with a white botton up shirt with a black overall coat
