Chapter 19:Melina

This is a spoiler warning if you have not yet seen Black Widow don't read until you have watched the movie

Steve and I sat at the table and were each given a file, I opened it looking inside. The picture of the man looked fimiliar but I couldn't place it, I know this James guy but I can't place where I know him from

We were tasked with finding James, after hydra fell he has been off the grid and he would be fine but he is still under the mind control of hydra. There are only a few people who could know where he is and one is not an option, all she does is cause trouble and bring destruction with her

"I might have an option" Tony said looking me square in the eyes

"Tony if your thinking of who I'm thinking of the answer is no" I said giving him a stern look but he just shook his head "Tony no" I said feeling a tear form in my eye

Last time I talked with Melina I lost everything, I was sent away from Nat and Yelena. I was told to go back to Tony where at first he didn't want me in his life but then he changed his mind and let me live here but until then I was on my own living in the streets all thanks to her

"NO" I said standing up, banging my fists on the table causing everyone to look at me, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "No" I said more calm, shaking my head at him. Everything Melina taught me was that emotions made us stronger, but the Red Room taught me differently

Tony stood up and left the kitchen, I followed, we walked into the living room. I hit Tony in the chest and pushed him into the wall, there was a loud thud.  I put my arm over his neck preventing him from moving away from me. "Tony if she comes here my life will be over and she will ruin me" I said gritting my teeth, tears falling down my face

I felt someone grab my arms, pulling me away from Tony, he bent over and took long deep breaths trying to regain his breathing after I had him by his neck. I looked up and saw it was Steve

I was fighting Steve I was kicking and swinging my arms trying to get out of Steves arms, I started to scream "Tony no please you can't" I said as I felt something enter my neck and then darkness

When I wake up I notice the sun coming through my curtains and Nat is sitting on a chair looking down at the floor. "He did it didn't he" I said sitting up and looking at Nat tears filling my eyes

"Yeah I'm sorry" she said looking into my teary eyes

I swung my feet over the edge of the bed and bent over grabbing my bottle of wine I keep hidden under my bed. I take the cork out and start drinking it Stark style but Nat takes the bottle out of my hand. "Hey" I said reaching my hand towards the wine bottle she just took from me

"This won't solve your problems" she said putting the bottle down on the dresser

I rolled my eyes at her "Oh yeah and what will" I said sarcastically

Nat grabbed my arm and dragged me off the bed and down to the kitchen, "This" she said pushing me inside the kitchen where I was face to face with the person I hate the most

"Melina" I said venom lacing my words

"Victoria" she said it with venom in her voice too, 'god I can't stand this woman' I thought as I moved over behind Tony, I pinched his neck and he gave me a look

"Mama Melina" I looked around the room for Yelena but she wasn't there

"Victoria hun" she said coming over to me but I backed into a wall

"No you are not my mama you are a imposter who took me from my family" I said turning and running out of the room

I need to find Yelena and tell her what Tony did, this can bring down all of our lives in one fale swing. Mama Melina can either be the death of us or she can help free everyone but I doubt it

Mama Melina has always been on the side of the Red Room and right now in this building we have 3 escapy widows. Either Dreykov will come for us or if hes dead someone else will come for us because its only a matter of time until Mama Melina tells someone about Nat, Yelena, and I's wereabouts

"Jarvis where is Yelena?" I asked looking up at the ceiling

"She is in the training room Tori" Jarvis said coming from the ceiling

"Okay" I said walking off towards the training room. When I walked in Yelena was doing her normal training routine, punch a bag for a little bit. Run for a while, practice with her guns and finish it off with fighting a dummy

"Hey" she said turning to look at me

"Hey I need to tell you something" I said looking her sraight in the eyes shutting off my emotions, she could see that too

"What is it?" she asked looking straight into my eyes

"Mama Melina is here" I said

Her face went blank "What? Where? she started walking out of the training room

"Meeting room" I called after her

Yelena took off running "Mama Melina" I heard Yelena yell in excitment when she say the woman who raised us

"Yelena" Melina said bring her into a hug "Look at you, you are so grown up"

"Mama" Yelena said a smile on her face

"Oh come on" I said raising my hands in the air looking deadly at my family "You guys seriously aren't believing this bullshit are you" I crossed my arms shutting down my emotions and taking away everything that makes me, me
