Chapter 46:Reunited

A few groans later and I was finally tired of hearing him groan, "Are you that impatient?" I asked

"Yes" he said

It made me chuckle, how is this man over hundred years old but still this immature.  "You are how old again" I teased before taking my eyes off the sky and towards him

"So where are we going?" Steve asked impatiently

"You'll see when we get there" I teased taking off in the jet

New Zealand came into view, I could see the forest I would be landing in, the closer we got to it.  "Almost there" I said flying over the forest now

"Now watch how the pro does it" I said lightly hitting Steve on the shoulder, he rolled his eyes at me

"Oh whatever" he said watching me closely

We got to the forest and I landed the jet again the animals running away and the leaves flying through the air "Never gets old" I said jumping out of my seat, taking off out of the jet

"Hey wait" Steve called from behind me trying to catch up to me

"The house is right through those trees" I pointed up ahead at some trees that split "There will be a house just walk in I have somewhere I have to be" I walked off in the other direction

Steve walked off through the trees and disappeared into the clearing, walking towards the house.  I took off running farther into the woods

I walked through the door and saw a little figure sitting on the wooden couch.  "Mom" Anya jumped off the couch and ran to me

I got on my knees and opened my arms "Hi baby" I said with a smile on my face.  I gave her a big squeeze "Let me look at you" I begged pulling her away

Looking over her form "You've gotten so big" I couldn't help but smile

"I know mom" she giggled throwing her arms around me again

"Let's get you home I have someone for you to meet" I said standing up crouching over just a little

I ended up building a tree fort in an actual tree trunk, it's the perfect size for Anya but not for any adult.  It has everything she ever asked for, it has a couch, bed, play table, and a mini toy chest.  Yes I know I spoiled her but whatever

"Really" she said jumping up and down in excitement

"Yes now let's go home" I grabbed her hand and lead her out of the tree fort and towards the house

Walking through the forest, seeing the deer and rabbits.  Her face is so cute when she sees something new or unfamiliar, I mean the animals and forest is so pretty this time of the year.  Nothing will ever compare to this view

"Go run home" I pushed her a little bit once we got out of the trees

I watched Anya run through the big open field and into the house when I heard a scream and shouting.  I took off running 'No please don't be Anya' I ran at full speed

I busted through the door, Anya was on the floor crying.  A little scratch on her head, I ran over picking her up "Shh it's okay" I tried calming her down.  Putting her on my shoulder and rubbing her back

"What the hell" a surprised voice said behind me

"Yelena" I looked up and say her on the floor, Steve between her arms.  Laying on his back "Yelena let him go it's Steve" I shrieked

Steve was turning purple and he couldn't breath, "sorry" Yelena said, releasing her grip.  Steve sat up and put his hands over his throat

"Steve" I rushed over to him and sat him up against me

"Nice warm welcome" he said looking up at me and Anya

Her eyes meeting his, the same blue eyes colliding, it was like magic.  Steve reached his hand up and touched her cheek, making Anya giggle in happiness

"Anya meet your dad" I looked from Steve to Anya smiling

She grew an even bigger smile and looked from me to Steve "Really" she jumped out of my arms excitingly and jumped into Steve's

"Hi sweety" Steve had this cute baby voice he used

"Are you really my daddy and have you come to take me home?" She asked

"Yes pumpkin" he said hugging her, Steve only just met Anya but I know he will be an amazing father to her

I couldn't have picked anyone else to be a better father than him in her life, standing in front of them admiring them was amazing.  My family was whole again and I couldn't ask for anything else in this moment, maybe my life does have some good still in it

My thoughts were interrupted by a little certain someone pulling on my pant leg, "Mama" I heard Anya say doing grabby hands

"Aren't you a little to old to do grabby hands" I said smirking picking her up

The cute adorable pout showing on her little face, "I'm not falling for that" I said knitting my eyebrows at her

"Okay" she said sounding defeated

"Thank you" I gave her a smile, letting my face light up with happiness.  She gave me a quick kiss on the cheek, leaning in and out just as quickly as it happened "I love you Jelly"

I heard a giggle escaping her lips along with Yelena's but Steve's face was utter confusion.  "I love you too peanut butter" she said smiling at me

I looked to Steve and started laughing, his face was absolutely hilarious. His confusion and total stance, I just couldn't help myself

"It's our catchphrase someway to say I love you without actually having to say I love you" I smiled at Steve

"Oh I see" he said smiling at Anya and I

"Yeah" I stood up, holding Anya's hand

"Yelena" I said walking over and hugging her

"Hi Tori" she said welcoming the embrace

"I'm sorry I didn't give you a heads up it was a last minute thing" I said pulling away looking at her, she didn't have a single scratch on her

"Its okay I had fun going a few rounds with somebody but on the bright side you finally told Steve he's a father" she said smiling

"Yes I did" I turned back looking at him with a small smile

Hello everyone sorry if you got the message saying this is completed but it is not, I have roughly about 10-20 more chapters and then the book will be done.  I've just had a lot on my plate lately but it's getting lighter and I've been able to write more so more chapters coming
