Chapter 12:A Run

I woke up in the morning and saw Steve was still with me, he was awake and playing with my hair again. I looked up at him "Morning" I said wiping the sleep from my eyes

"Morning" he responded giving me a smile and small kiss

I kissed him back and sat up giving him a smile "So what we doing today?" I asked intrigued

"Well I was going to go for a run if you want to join" he said moving his eye sight to a bag in the corner

I got off the bed and walked over to the bag, I opened it and saw my cloths in it. There was a note and I read it

Hey Tori

Don't really know what you'll need so I threw a little bit of everything in here, hope it helps. Oh and we are having a girls night tonight so I can get all the details so be prepared xoxo

I swear that girl is kinda annoying but I love her to death. I looked through the bag to notice a workout outfit in the bottom, I turned back to look at Steve with a smile on my face "Well are we running or what" I said grabbing the cloths out of the bag and heading into the bathroom to change

I walked out and noticed Steve already changed into some shorts with no shirt, "Ready to go" he said grabbing my hand and bringing me out of the apartment and to a park that was across the street from the apartment

We started off with a small jog but then his pace quickened and he was making laps around me, "This isn't fair" I said causing him to stop and look at me

"And how is that" he said walking over and looking confused

"Not all of us are super soldiers" I said bending over trying to catch my breath

I'm trying to get him where I want him and hes falling right into my trap, "Fine lets run back to apartment and then we can relax and watch the movie" he said "And I'll give you a head start" he said causing me to stand up and look at him "1...2....3" he said as I started to run a little slow to see if he would pass me and he did

"Hey" I yelled as he slowed down waiting for me but I took this chance and ran ahead of him "Keep up" I said looking back at him

He ran after me passing me but I had one more move up my sleeve, I ran like I used to as a child and passed Steve with a landslide. It was cute the great Captain America was trying to keep up with me and I was just a 25 year old girl

I got to the apartment and waited for him, when he finally arrived I yawned "Took you long enough" I said sarcastically causing him to laugh

He just rolled his eyes and walked inside the apartment "What its not my fault you can't keep up" I say walking behind him up the stairs

Once we got to the door and I looked at him "When did you learn how to run like that?" he asked before unlocking his door

"What can I say long legs fast runner" I said smiling

He opened the door and we walked in, he was sweating a bunch where I was not. But to be fair I only ran 2 laps while Steve probably ran 100, he hoped in the shower and I got dressed in the outfit Nat picked out for me. Now I know why Nat was stocking out my closet the other day, she was planning my outfit for today

I waited in the living room looking out the window that looked over the city, I didn't hear Steve come up behind me. He put his hand on my shoulder and I turned around quickly going to punch him in the face, he caught my fist in his hand and I gasped "Steve" I said dropping my fist and walking away from him

"Hey its okay" he said grabbing my hand turning me to face him

"I'm sorry" I said looking down at the floor, he lifted my chin up making me look him in the eyes

He put his hands around my face and kissed me "You have nothing to be sorry for" he said once we were done kissing

"I could have hurt you" I said looking sad, I always tell myself I will never use my training for personal gain but only in defense when its really needed.

"But you didn't" he gave me a smile

"Your right I know you could have but you didn't and I know I can trust you because of this" he said kissing me one more time before sitting me on the couch and grabbing the remote

I watched as he put on Pitch Perfect 3 and signaled for me to lay on his chest, I moved closer and laid down. I have always liked this movie from the first day I saw it, it had a spot on my favorite list

I sang all the songs and Steve just watched me curiously but once the movie was over I got up and grabbed my bag "This was fun but Tony will flip if I don't go home soon" I said putting my stuff in the bag and walking to the door

"Hey let me bring you home" Steve said getting up and walking over to the door where I was. I put my shoes on and walked out the door, Steve following shortly behind me

We got on the back of the motorcycle and drove back to the Tower, once we got there. Steve took my hand as we walked into the tower, when we entered the sight I saw was something I was not prepared for

Hello everyone, I am working everyday this week but good news I'm off for 4 days and will be completely alone so I will be writing like crazy so I should have a bunch of chapters soon for everyone
