"Are you trying to dress in all black?" You laughed at Tom's playful pout. He was wearing black, baggy jeans with cuts on the front. He looked like a trendy teenager and an e-boy all in one. "Not the leather jacket, Tom."

"Yes, the leather jacket, love," He grinned at you.

"Tom," Your hands ran down the zipper of the jacket as you adjusted it. You tried to hold your laughter back. "You look like a wannabe gangster."

"Wannabe? I am gangsta!"

You laughed at that. "No, you're not."
"I am too!"

"Tom," You leaned close. "I love you, but you're too soft to ever look like a gangsta."

"Y/N," he whines, dragging out the end syllables of your name. "Why are you laughing? I can so pull off the gangsta look!"

"Mafia boss, yes, gangster? No."

He rolls his eyes. "That's literally the same thing!"

"The fact that you don't even know the difference means you're neither."

"Rude," he juts his lip out. You giggle at him.

"Just... dress normally, okay?"

He doesn't reply, and you laugh as he silently walks off to the bathroom in a huff. When he comes out twenty minutes later, you expect him to be dressed a bit less edgy, but what you get is an amplified version of what you viewed earlier.

"Thomas, oh my god," You cover your mouth sheepishly as you burst out laughing. "What have you done to your hair?"
"I look gangsta now!" He decides.

"No." You laughed. "You look like Ross Geller from FRIENDS with this much gel in your hair." You run a hand through it, ruining his 'masterpiece' as he referred to it.

"Y/N!"
"What?"

"You just messed it up even more!"

"Is this even good for your hair?" You rub the substance between your thumb and your pointer finger. "You should call Christine later and ask if you're allowed to switch products."

Tom groans again, falling back against you. "I am gangsta."

"You know, there's nothing wrong with being my soft boy."

"I'm not soft! I'm gangsta!"
"Whatever you say, baby." You intentionally use the term of endearment. He catches on, groaning again. You laugh at him.
