"Are we ready for track seven?"

"It's 'safety net?'" Harry asks and you nod in response.

Harrison crinkles his nose with a chuckle, head tipped up towards the ceiling. "Is it about condoms or something crazy?"

"Ew, what?" Tom's face of confusion takes in Harrison's appearance. "How would that even work?"

"Let's do it without a safety net," he said in a sing-songy tone. Tom scoffed, rolling his eyes before nudging your arm, giving you the okay to start the music.

The first thing Tom took note of was how much he loved the beat. As the lyrics flowed, he realized how well you and Ty Dolla $ign harmonized. He wanted the song on repeat for the rest of his life. He wanted to know what inspired it, when you realized you were falling so carelessly, so helplessly. He wanted to know everything. He wanted it to be about him.

It was.

"What do you guys think?" you smiled nervously, pausing the music before the next song began.

"It's very..." Harry searched for the right word. "Raw."

"Yeah," Sam nodded. "It's realistic, too. Reminds me of the beginning of my relationship with El."

Harrison rolled his eyes, playfully gagging at Sam's mention of his longtime girlfriend. He looked at you when he was done teasing. "It's really good, Y/N. I'd love to know who it's about thoug-'' Harry smacked his forearm to quiet him, and Tom's eyes grew wide. Of course someone would ask.

You laughed again, looking at Tom to gauge his reaction. "What about you? What'd you think?"

"I think it's gonna be my favorite from the album," he smiled, holding your hand a little tighter. You smiled too, giving him a quick peck on the lips before unlocking your phone again.

"You're just saying that because it's so obviously about you and how sickeningly in love you are," Harrison seethed playfully.

"I am not!"

"Please!" Harrison laughed.

"He's right, Tom," Harry laughed.

"You know-!" he flared his nostrils in frustration. "Shut up," he mumbled.

You rolled your eyes at the interaction. Maybe you weren't the only one falling.
