"C'mon, L/N," Hemsworth motioned for you to stand. "you're up." 

Tom invited you to a party with the Marvel's Endgame cast. You're his plus one, and they'd insisted on doing karaoke. Being the only professional vocal arranger and producer, they'd obviously shone the spotlight on you. 

You had a feeling a lot of them didn't believe you naturally had a powerful voice, perhaps assuming you used auto-tune, so you knew they'd suggest something difficult. 

"Since your fans say this song is so impressive live," Robert grinned, choosing a song. 

The lyrics were about to play onto the TV, and you looked to Tom, who gave you a thumbs up and a reassuring smile. You two were fresh into your relationship, so you hadn't really gotten to the stage where you two could utterly embarrass yourselves in front of each other. 

They'd chosen God is a Woman. 

When you first started singing, they were all quiet, watching you with wide eyes. But then they figured you might avoid the notes, as a lot of artists do. 

You didn't. You did whistles instead.

To say they were shocked was an understatement. Tom was the first one applauding and cheering you, even before the song was over. Scarlet and Mark were also cheering, and when you finished they immediately started chatting. 

"Oh my god," Tom deadpanned. 

"Holy shit this girl can sing," Robert pointed to you, laughing, and you nervously smiled, handing someone the karaoke microphone. 

"No, no no!" Chris Evens, said calmly. "can you- can you sing us something else?"

Your eyes softened and you glanced to Tom before answering. "Any, uhm- requests?

"Oh do 'no tears left to cry!'" Tom exclaimed first, jumping excitedly.

"I want to hear emotions."

"No, single ladies. We need to hear Beyonce from someone good, at least."

"I'm thinking Natural Woman."

You looked to Tom as requests kept flying in, smiling sheepishly before picking up the microphone again.
