"Please welcome to the stage, Y/N L/N," Jennifer Lawrence introduced you. 

The musical beats made an appearance before you did, your voice ringing through the speakers as lights dimmed and shined on you only. You had on a violet dress, slim until it puffed out at your waist. White gloves were fitted on your hands as well, matching hair accessories to go with them, clear, sparkly heels also fitted on your feet. 

" Step up the two of us, nobody knows us, get in the car like skrrt. "

You momentarily looked out towards the audience, Tom and his friend Harrison in the third row of a section, his MCU costars a few rows over as well. They'd met you several times, times with Tom on set turned to hangouts with the rest of the cast. 

You were finishing the chorus for the second time, your voice building up as the audience silenced as you shot out whistle tones, gasps and jaw drops received from actors and actresses. 

Tom's eyes were staring so intently on you, the camera's panning to different audience members to catch their reactions, and Tom was no different, the camera happening to capture his glossy eyes just before he wiped his face. 

" Imagine. "

Your song had just ended, the beats fading out as you grabbed Matt Damon's hand; he helped you step down from the platform as you descended from the stage, the camera panning you until you reached the floors with the seats. 

Tom had realized that though the instruments made the song sound romantic, the lyrics showed your true emotion: anger. Why couldn't he just imagine a world like that, with you? 

"You alright, man?" Harrison whispered over, leaning slightly. 

Tom nodded, wiping his face again. "Yeah.. yeah, I'm good."
