a/n : okay this sounds like smut but it isn't. i repeat: THIS IS NOT SMUT. its the spin off story from my previous chapter "worthy."

Y/N was the newest member of the Avengers, so this would be her first game night with everyone. She was worried, but Peter assured her that it would be nothing less than a fun night. Her shy demeanor made it rather hard to tell how she felt about the whole situation, but Peter knew her well enough.

Game night started at 8, and it was only 6:30, so Peter had asked her to hang out in his room until the 'fun began.'

Y/N was sitting in Peter's lap, talking about school and the Avengers, until Peter got an idea.

"You have 'an idea'?" Y/N asked hesitantly.

"Yes! You're gonna love it, it's gonna be so fun!" he gushed.

"Okay, continue."

"So, I'm Spiderman so I can walk on the walls and stuff. What if -- I walk on the ceiling and stand upside down, and you can  like- jump up and hold my hand so we can both dangle down, and then it'll be like one of those cheesy action-romance scenes where the guy saves the girl he loves from falling off a cliff, and they live happily ever after!"

Y/N was silent for a few seconds, pondering the idea as 'creative' or 'stupid.' "I dunno, Pete. The ceilings are really high," she confessed.

"I wouldn't let you fall!" he rushed out, worried.

"I know ... but what if I fall?"

"Here, we can set up a landing zone, in case we fall," he suggested.

He moved to get a bunch of extra pillows out of a cabinet, grabbing several thick comforters and blankets as well. When he was positive it would prevent a fall from hurting, he turned back to Y/N.

"So?"

"Uhm," she spoke quietly.

"Please, angel? It'll be so much fun," he gave her puppy-dog eyes, a weakness she could never say 'no' to. She was lucky Peter didn't know that.

"Okay," she confirmed.

Peter jumped for joy, telling her a few more details about is plan. Y/N grinned, loving how excited he had gotten.

Peter was climbing up the wall now, reaching the ceiling and moving right above the edge his bed. The sight made her nervous; the ceilings were really high, and she didn't want to watch him fall, but his smile was so wide, so she got on the bed.

"Jump up and try to catch my hand."

"You're just gonna pull us up?" she laughed.

"Yes! Don't doubt Spiderman!" he laughed.

Standing on the bed, Y/N jumped. For a first attempt, it wasn't too bad, but she completely missed his hand because she wasn't sure how high she needed to go. She jumped again, her fingertips grazing his. Peter laugh, and she fake pouted, which only spurred him on. She started laughing too, which didn't help her next attempt, because she fell off the side of the bed.

"Y/N!" Peter exclaimed. "Are you okay?"

The only reply he got was her laughter, ringing his ears over and over again as the worry washed away from his face.

"Did you see that?" she exclaimed, smiling. "I flew off the bed!" she laughed harder.

Peter began laughing too, so hard that he almost fell off the ceiling. "Y/N! I can't breathe! Stop it! I'm gonna fall!"

Y/N looked up at him, laughing harder and standing up for another attempt, but Peter came falling down, landing in the landing zone as she stood on the other side of the bed, laughing.

"You just-" her laughter cut her off, taking her breathe away.

"Don't tease me! It's your fault!" he laughed.

"I can't breathe!" she confessed. "That was so funny! You looked so crazy! Falling like that!"

They laughed for ten whole minutes, Y/N almost peeing herself while Peter tried to stand up, failing because he was laughing so hard.

"Okay, get up mister," Y/N said. "Let's do this."

Once again, Peter walked up the wall and onto the ceiling, standing upside down and reaching his arms out for her. Y/N stood on the bed for the fourth time, jumping.

She missed hand again, so she started jumping. On her fifth attempt, she caught his hand, but Peter started laughing right as he was pulling them up, and they both let go of her as she went falling to the landing zone. Five minutes went by with them laughing their brains out, Y/N attempting and failing for the sixth time.

On her seventh attempt, Y/N's hand had latched onto Peter's, and they connected their other hands too. The door to the bedroom opened, and Tony and Steve walked in.

"Hey kids, are you-" Tony started. "Holy shit."

"Language!"

Tony turned to look at Steve, who was too caught up in the kids to notice his glare.

"What are you two doing?" Steve asked, bewildered.

Y/N tried to spin around while holding both of Peter's hands, but it was too difficult to move while Peter was trying so hard to keep their hands intertwined and keep his feet glued to the ceiling.

When she had turned a reasonable amount, she explained, "Trying to," she took a breath, "recreate a," another breath, "cliff scene." Peter was laughing now, and Y/N tried to hold hers in because she was out of breath as it was, but she ended up cackling.

"Can you guys," Peter's giggles interrupted him, "get Y/N?" This time, Y/N's giggles interrupted him. "Unless you wanna fall with me?" he asked her, looking down.

"Wait," Steve started again. "What were you trying to do after you grabbed his hands?"

"I was supposed to pull us up," Peter confessed. "But I've been up here awhile and she keeps making me laugh."

"He's too weak, anyways," Y/N teased, laughing again at the face he made.

"Stop making me laugh! I'm gonna drop you!" he shrieked, laughing again. "Grab her now or I'm gonna crush her when we fall!" Peter exclaimed.

Tony and Steve moved towards the two kids, but they were proven too late. They were standing on the ground near the edge of the bed while Peter and Y/N started falling. The two landed in the mess of pillows and blankets and toys, which was the landing zone. If Y/N could breathe before, she certainly couldn't now. Her laughter doubled, and her and Peter were a mess of tangled limbs.

"Are you guys okay?" Tony exclaimed.

After a few minutes, Y/N spoke up. "Can we do that again? That was fun," she laughed again.

Peter stood up, reaching for your hand to help her too, "C'mon, goofball. Game night is starting."

Steve laughed, grabbing her other hand and pulling with Peter to help her stand.

"Yeah?" she smirked.

"Oh no..." Peter started. "I know that face. That's your 'I've-got-a-bad-idea-and-it's-gonna-be- hilarious' face."

"Is it, now?" her smirked grew. Stepping away from the circle they had her in, she stood near the door, facing all three boys. She quickly stepped forward, lightly slapping all three of them before racing out the door while yelling, "Tag! You're it!"

"Oh c'mon, angel," Peter yelled, the three of them trailing behind her.
