"Okay guys, I know I just released an album, but are we ready to hear my new single?" You asked, settling on the love seat next to Tom. 

Harry scoffed, "Puh-lease," he sipped his beer. "We were born ready." 

"I don't know about that," you teased. "But if you're ready." 

"Hit it girl!" Harrison screamed, beer pointed up. 

"It's out now! Oh my god," you shrieked, holding one of Tom's hands as he chuckled at you. You hit play, the intro ringing through the speakers as the boys went quiet to listen. 

Upon the first verse, Harry's mouth was ajar, hitting the floor as he practically spilled his beer. You felt Tom cough, assuming he was choking on his drink, Harrison and Sam both going wide eyed. 

"Holy shit," Tom let out under his breath. "You were not kidding."

"I'll say," Harry said, wiping the beer stains off of his jeans.

"I told you, you weren't ready!" You exclaimed with a laugh. 

"Shhh," Harrison quieted everyone. "This song is long as fuck, I want to hear it."

The four of you laughed, joining him. By the third verse, Tom was, as he usually is, lost in thought about the lyrics. 

"Didn't you say you'd never say 'that songs a smash'?" Tom teased, and you shoved his shoulder, producing a laugh out of him. When the song came to a close, you turned to them again, expecting their responses. 

"If that's the single I can't wait to hear how crazy this album's gonna be," Harrison admitted. 

"Seriously though- that 'i'm so fuckin' grateful,'" he patted his chest. "Really went for it there, Y/N/N." You laughed at him. "Nearly fuckin' killed me." 

Tom laughed too, "Yeah, but it also feels more... you. It's something you would totally say." 

You leaned on his chest sweetly, an acknowledgement to what he'd said, going on to explain your next upcoming single.
