Meeting Tom also meant meeting Harrison and Harry. And because they were always with him, every job you booked with Tom, also meant a job booked with both Harries. You were close to all three of them, but Tom was different to you. Maybe it was the fact that you had grown a crush on him since the minute you two were introduced, or maybe it was just that you really liked his company. Either way, you had never been so smitten for anyone before, and though you thought your hints were quite obvious, nothing had yet to happen, much to your disappointment.
You wanted to make the first move -- god you wanted to. But you couldn't; it was too nerve-racking, and you swore you saw the end of your friendship flash before your eyes, so you kept it quiet. Harry and Harrison, on the other hand, were very much in on the secret, and you were grateful they could keep a secret better than Tom.
The two of you were six months into filming an upcoming movie, Cherry, when you were called in for an Interview -- with Tom, of course -- on the Jimmy Fallon Show. After answering his questions and playing a ridiculous game of Whisper, you were let off the show and headed backstage.
Something had clicked during the Interview. Jimmy had mentioned if either of you were seeing somebody, or if you were interested in anyone. Of course, you both denied seeing anyone, but you did mention that you were into someone. After prying his way into your business (though it wasn't a severe case of digging) you had confessed that this person meant a lot to you, and you were really hoping things would spark between the two of you. And as you talked about Tom --unbeknownst to everyone that it was him -- you came to the realization that you had liked Tom for as long as you had known him, which was a little under a year.
Heading backstage, you were rushing to your dressing room, frantically texting Harry to meet you immediately. He left Harrison's side and went to your dressing room instead of Tom's.
"Y/N?" He rushed out, worry laced in his voice. "What's happening? What's wron-"
You were pacing back and forth, hands rustling through your hair and messing it up. You turned to look at him, eyes slightly blown. "I think I'm in love with Tom," you confessed.
"You're- .."
"In love," you filled in. "Yeah," You nodded.
"Oh my god."
"I'm in love," You repeated, happier and more confidently. And then you were rushing to Harry, hugging him tightly as your arms wrapped around his neck. He was smiling, holding your waist with his arms as he hugged you back.
Tom had been wondering where his younger brother had run off to, and his first stop was to check if he was with you. He was, but after overhearing your conversation with him, his mood changed to a sour one very quickly, and he felt like he was ready to cry. Because the girl he loved was in love with his brother.

"Y'guys up for dinner?" Harrison said, the four of you heading to the car after leaving the set of the Fallon Show.
After your outburst of joy from the realization of your feelings for Tom, Harry had convinced you to tell Tom as soon as you two were alone. You had a movie night scheduled with him after today's interview, so you decided to do it then. You hugged Harry one last time before meeting up with the other two boys and letting them take the lead.
"Uhm, sure," Harry replied. "Tom? Y/N?"
"Yea-!"
"No, I'm not really in the mood," Tom interrupted, his voice deep and despondent.
"Oh? Why... why's that?" You inquired softly.
"Just don't feel up to it, 's all."
"Alright," Harrison said. "We can order in, instead," he compromised.
"Sounds good to me," Harry said, taking the passenger seat as Harrison got in the driver's side.
Normally, you and Tom would be thrilled to snatch the backseat for yourselves. The two of you would joke around, open the windows as wide as possible, and control the music with either of your phones. But this time, Tom sat on the far side of the seat -- all the way to the window, and you knew something was up.

After arriving home, both Harries had went their separate ways into the house, leaving you and Tom to unpack and settle by yourselves. Tom had dragged his feet to the stairs, leaving his hoodie on a kitchen stool before making the climb to his bedroom. You were trailing after him, leaving your shoes by the door."Tom?" you asked softly. "Are you alright?"
"'m fine," he grumbled, opening his bedroom door and heading for the dresser. You were still following him.
"You don't seem okay."
"Well I am," he snapped.
You took a deep breath, your voice mellow. "You know you can talk to me, right? About anything? There's no judgement between us. I'm here if you just need to-"
"You're in love with my brother," he interrupted.
"What?"
He hummed as a response, nodding his head tightly before changing into some comfortable clothing.
"Where on earth did you hear that?" You asked, shocked.
He turned to look at you before sighing, almost as if talking about the subject hurt him as much as hearing it. "After the show. You told him- in your dressing room."
You ran a hand through your hair, sighing out. "You're... upset about that?"
"Of course I am!" he said, making his way out of his room again, and you were following along, changing into some different clothes too.
"Why.. is that?" you asked shyly. As much as you wanted to tell him the truth, you also wanted to find out why it bothered him so much.
He stopped in the kitchen doorway, turning to look at you. "The girl I like is in love with my brother, of course I'm going to be upset!"
You shivered at his sentence, and he was heading into the kitchen before you could fully process what he had said. Grabbing his hoodie off of the stool, you put it on before following him into the kitchen, pushing the swing door and emerging into the room.
"Tommy.." you started quietly. He was frustrated -- trying to make tea to distract his mind, but he was only angrily moving the kettle and mugs. "Tommy look at me."
"What?" he huffed out, giving in and making eye contact with you.
"I wasn't... talking about Harry. I was telling him that I was in love with someone, but it's not him."
His brows furrowed as he started to understand, but you weren't finished.
"Tommy I was talking about you,"you admitted, shyly making sweater paws and rubbing your hands on your thighs.
He was fully turned towards you, now, leaning on the counter behind him as his arms crossed and his biceps flexed ever so slightly.
"Really?" he asked, tears evident in his eyes.
"Yeah," you laughed out, your voice muddled with forming tears. "I'm in love with you."
He leaned in for a kiss, one you approved of with silent motions, and he kissed you for the first time. When he pulled away, he sighed out, holding your hands in his. "I'm in love with you too," he replied, before leaning in for another kiss. This one was deeper, and evidently more heated, as the two of you switched spots and you were trapped between him and the counter. And then, he had placed you on the counter, your shyness growing as you tugged on his curls, and when he pulled apart he laughed at your blush as he leaned his forehead on yours.
"'m sorry if I was being unreasonable earlier."
"Don't be," you replied instantly. "I love you for it."
