(requested) sorry it took so long lol

When you texted Harrison to come over, you didn't expect him to answer right away, let alone actually say yes, because though the two of you were best friends, he was always busy with projects. Now, though, he was in between films, and you were happy to take advantage of that.

"Hey, Y/N/N," Harrison greeted you, closing the door after letting himself in.

"Haz!" You jumped up, hugging him. He chuckled, embracing you too.

"What're we doing today?" he asked after the two of you separated.

"I don't know, really. We can watch a movie- I think Tom just went grocery shopping so we could make something."

"I love making things," he agreed, "Let's do that."

You nodded, slipping on one of Tom's hoodies and leading the way into the kitchen. The two of you were like a well-oiled machine, working around the kitchen and getting the supplies without needing to confide in each other.

By the time the two of you were starting, music was lightly playing in the background, and the two of you were side by side working on the brownie batter on grande kitchen island.

"So," Harrison started with a grin. "How're things with you and Tom?"

"You always ask that!" You exclaimed with a laugh.

"I do not!" he said, throwing some flour at your hands.

You gasped before doing the same. "You do too!"

"Fine!" He huffed, facing forward again. "I'm just rooting for my two best mates, is that so bad?"

"If your obsession gets any bigger then I'd say so," you smirked.

It was Harrison's turn to gasp dramatically. "Well."

"Well?" you laughed, cracking an egg.

The two of you made eye contact before bursting out in laughter, egg whites getting on both of your hands. After the two of you settled down, a comfortable silence settled over the both of you. You were humming to the music when he spoke up again.

"Really, though, how are things?"

You turned to look at his blue orbs before answering. "Really great. I really love him-- god I didn't know love was like this."

"Well, aren't you glad I asked then?" He asked cockily.

"God you div!" you pushed his shoulder and the two of you laughed again.

"I just can't wait to see him propose tonight, geez!" He defended himself between laughs while you were shoving his shoulders. After the words registered in your ears, you stopped moving, and Harrison sensing a change, stopped too, eyes growing wider than the Grand Canyon.

"What did you say?" You whispered.

"N- I said nothing, I didn't say anything," he rushed out.

"No you said," you pointed to him weakly, "You said he's going to propose."

Harrison's mouth opened and closed as he decided on what to say next. "Well- I just-"

"Is he really?" you asked, leaning on the counter for support.

Harrison nodded, looking down. "Are you going to say n-"

"Does he have a ring?"

He nodded again, and you wiped tears off your cheeks with a smile. "Oh god, Haz," you wheezed, moving in to hug him. He engulfed you, holding you while you cried.

"Is this- is this a good thing?"

"Of course it is you div!" You squeaked, pushing his shoulder playfully again.

Harrison smiled, relieved at that. "Sorry I ruined the surprise."

"Don't be," you said with a smile while washing your hands. "I'm excited."

"Why's tha-"

Before he could finish his question, the front door opened and closed, and you rushed out of the kitchen to greet whoever had just arrived. Seeing it was Tom, you ran up to him, and he barely dropped his bags in time to catch you, softly gripping your waist to hold you against him. Your arms were around his neck, lips by his ear.

"Yes," you whispered.

Tom froze before looking to Harrison --who was standing in the doorway with a guilty face-- with a confused expression.

"'Yes' what, love?" he whispered back.

"Yes, I will."

Tom was silent for a few beats before the realization struck him. "You will?" he whispered again, pulling you away to look at your face clearly. Your eyes were tearful, face fitted with a small smile as you nodded.

Tom's own eyes filled up as he pulled you in for another hug, giving you a kiss too.

"We're getting married," you whispered after a few silent minutes. Tom pushed you away again before looking to Harrison.

"We're getting married!" He cheered, voice echoing throughout the house. Harrison laughed before screaming too.

"They're getting married!"

You giggled, holding Tom's hand as you raised them to the air. "We're getting fucking married!"
