word count: 300

"Ugh," you rubbed your arms. "Why the fuck is New York so cold?"

Peter laughed beside you. "I think you mean why is the furnace so bad?"

You looked at him with scrunched brows, snuggling into his side in hopes to steal his radiating warmth. Five minutes passed, Peter rubbing your arms with his hands, soft and gentle, and you blurt out,

"Peter what if June is cold?"

Peter glanced down at you, brows slightly furrowed, but he shook his worries away.

"I'm sure she's fine, baby. She's sleeping, wouldn't she cry if she were cold?" he inquired.

"I don't think so," you said, removing yourself from Peter's lap to go to her nursery. Peter sighed, eventually following you into the room, grabbing his hoodie on the way in.

"Hi, baby," you cooed at her, picking her up gently. She giggled at you, grabbing your fingers. "Is my baby cold?"

Peter awed at the two of you, bring in her spare blankets from a cupboard. You moved to your bed, Peter laying out the blankets to help you.

"Hi baby," he reached his fingers in front of her. She grabbed his finger with her hand, and Peter kissed her head as you got ready.

"Ready, baby?" you cooed again. "Care to help, Mr. Parker?" You joked, and he kissed your temple, helping you move June, wrapping her tight and secure.

"There you go, baby," he said. "All cozy," he carried her back to her crib, laying her gently as her eyes closed and she drifted off to sleep again. Peter returned to your side, hand on the small of your back as he kissed your forehead again.

"Now," you hugged him fully. "Can you wrap me?"
