"...So Harry and I hid in the corner under the stairs as the guards swarmed in. It was chaos but that's exactly what she wanted. They were focused on her so we were able to lay down among the guards on the floor and pretend she had injured us too." Sylvia's story had taken about five minutes as she skipped over some of the minor details. "But... eventually she was taken out." She stared down at the cold bottle in her hand, shaking with nerves from the story and just a little bit because of her close proximity to Lisa, who still had a protective arm wrapped around her shoulders. Harry was listening closely, staring at Sylvia despite having heard the story in full on their drive to the love hotel.
"Hold on," Rosie said as she raised a hand. "Even if she was drugged, there's no way Jennie would have been taken down by only twenty guards, especially if they weren't able to use their weapons in close quarters."
Sylvia had been avoiding eye contact with Rosie and Lisa and continued to do so. "You're right. She probably would have beaten them all. And maybe even the guards on the upper floors."
"Would have?" Lisa asked gently.
"Well...There were only a few guards left standing when she appeared and- " Sylvia's voice cracked, as if it was painful to think about.
"Titania again?" Rosie asked, gritting her teeth.
"That's the big one right? Or maybe it was the tiny one." Lisa offered.
"No, but she was there." Sylvia nodded towards Lisa and took a deep breath, steadying herself. "It was Jisoo. Jisoo was the one who captured Jennie."
Rosie's jaw dropped open and she stole a look at Lisa. Her friend's eyes were burning with anger, her face turning red with anger.
"Go on," Lisa whispered.
"It happened so fast. Miss Jennie had her back turned to the hallway so Miss Jisoo caught her by surprise. She did a strange movement and it seemed to paralyze Miss Jennie. Her arms dropped to her side and then she fell to the floor. I couldn't risk seeing what happened next, I turned and slumped against the wall to avoid being seen by Miss Jisoo. But... before I turned away, I saw that guard walk in, as if she had been waiting for Jisoo to handle things. The one you were talking about, Miss Lisa." Sylvia looked up at the assassin, her eyes watery.
Lisa removed her arm from around Sylvia's shoulder. She stood up and walked to the far corner of the bedroom and pulled her arm across her chest, stretching her shoulder gingerly.
"Her name is Ophelia." Harry continued tersely. "The story is that YG recruited her from an underground fighting ring somewhere in Europe. Along with the giant one, Titania, they're YG's elites. Rumor was that YG took them on when Jisoo refused to be her second in command. Although it looks like that's changed." He leaned back against the wall behind him, a grim look on his face.
Rosie watched Lisa for a moment and then directed her question to Sylvia, who swiveled on the couch to look at her. "Harry could just wear his helmet but why wouldn't they have seen you during the cleanup? Jisoo took the tour with us and Ophelia is the one who handled you being thrown in the dungeons. Neither would forget a face so quickly."
"Well, Miss Jisoo left after she spoke with Ophelia." Sylvia began.
"And I covered Sylvia as we left. Ophelia gave orders for the remaining guards to take heavily injured up to the medical center and the ones that could walk were dismissed with orders to come back for a debriefing in two hours. We took the stairs to avoid riding in the elevator with her." Harry finished explaining for Sylvia. "After we reached the lobby, we took the car that I prepared and came straight here, following Jennie's directions."
