YG's suite was empty and silent as usual.
There was only the constant dull humming of the cooling vents throughout the floor that kept the temperature at a relatively low, 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
But muffled by the humming vents, the reason for the low temperatures, and hidden behind a false wall inside the personal bedroom of Yang Ji-hye was a row of computers.
The computer monitors flashed intermittently, awaiting inputs for their paused footage.
On one screen was a frozen image of Jennie. She was chained to the floor but the focus of the camera was on Jisoo, who was bent towards Jennie. The key in Jisoo's hand glinted against the light of the camera.
Subsequent images on the monitor showed Jennie knocking out a guard and sneaking out of the room.
Another monitor showed, its footage far more grainy, Rosie walking through an empty hotel lobby carrying an unconscious Lisa.
The false wall in YG's room slid open and a figure stepped through. She walked past the monitors and leaned over a large computer terminal. She rapidly entered keystrokes and in response, the monitor flashed a file name.
THE BLACKPINK EXPERIMENT
The figure paused, her hand hovering over the mouse. She nervously looked over her shoulder, as if somehow, someone could have already obtained access into YG's secured floor.
Her gaze was caught by a nearby monitor. It was footage of a camera apparently placed directly onto the ceiling. It's resolution made it evident that the actual camera would have been near microscopic in size.
Jisoo and Lisa's heads were clearly visible though and they were leaning towards each other.
The date and time on the footage indicated it had happened shortly after their arrival at YG tower.
The woman pursed her lips, entered one last keystroke and clicked.
The file showed a loading bar, similar to one that might be seen as it is sent to another location, then it disappeared from the computer logs.
If someone were to investigate the computer, they would find no trace of the information.
Sylvia quickly scurried out of the room.
A/N: There's so so much I could say about this whole experience and what I've learned but really it boils down to: Thank you! Thank you for reading and for showing support in whatever form you chose. I really greatly appreciate it and I hope everyone enjoyed reading at least a fraction as much as I enjoyed writing it and getting to interact with all of you.
In regards to the story, there are a few obvious things that I left open-ended for the potential sequel (I plan to take a short break before addressing any plans for that) but I also wanted to give this story a satisfying conclusion on its own. I hope that I managed to do so!
I also am *almost* actually done with editing the story. If you re-read the beginning recently you'd hopefully notice that I added a longer story line to the first chapter. That's likely the biggest change I'll make other than the stealth change I made with the AmYG name to the YG Tower or just The Tower (it fits better dontcha think?), both for my sake and so that no one has to re-read the entire story in fear of having missed a crucial detail.
But other than that, I imagine most of the changes will just be to ensure continuity or formatting so thank you all for sticking through the mistakes!
And so ends the Gang in High Heels.
Fin!

[Update: Keep reading for a sneak peek to the sequel!]
