Rosie plopped the plastic bags down on the floor and sighed contentedly.
Jennie walked in, eyes glued to her phone.
Rosie 's sigh turned into a grunt of irritation.
"What's wrong?" Jennie said, momentarily looking up from her phone while typing.
"You." Rosie crossed her arms across her chest.
Jennie made a distracted noise, "Me?"
"We finally get away from it all. From the fake cover managers and the idol responsibilities to the whole, our boss tried to literally torture and kill us. We managed to take a secret vacation away from it all and all you did the whole flight over here was tap away on your phone. Who even pays for the network on a plane?" Rosie pouted.
"Um, I think it's just included in your normal ticket when you fly first class." Jennie said brazenly.
"No, it's not."
"...Anyways, you know that I have a lot of responsibilities right now. Jisoo specifically left me in charge of the day to day operations for YGE while she informs the YG Board of the.. Well everything that happened recently."
"Right. And Lisa is following up on some possible missing information from YG's office. You've said that a hundred times by now." Rosie rolled her eyes and began arranging the bags. She swung open the empty refrigerator to fill with their groceries.
"And Jisoo is coming back soon. Which just means I have to leave the company in a better state than when she left.
Rosie turned to look at Jennie. "I know that Jen. I know all of that. But you also said that... this," she gestured vaguely at the phone, "would be paused once we started our vacation."
Jennie sighed as she sent another email and put her phone on the table. "I did say that didn't I." She ran a hand through her hair.
"You also said some other things as well." Rosie stalked towards Jennie, pouting her bottom lip with an enticing look.
"No way I'd forget that." Jennie spread her arms open and beckoned Rosie closer.
Rosie took one step and spun as she stepped backwards and fell lightly on Jennie's chest.
As Jennie encircled her, her fingers pulled up Jennie's sleeves and gently slid upwards.
Rosie traced a finger along the scars that weaved throughout Jennie's skin.
It had only been a month since her injuries but Jennie's scars had already begun to fade thanks to the powerful YGE ointments being applied nightly.
They held onto each other for a quiet moment. Both of their minds wandered to their last great battle. Where they had almost lost each other.
Jennie squeezed Rosie a bit tighter.
Even leaning at an angle, Rosie was still tall enough to twist and look at Jennie without much difference.
