The lead guard was the first to react as the elevator doors opened and he brought his gun upwards quickly. Lisa slapped his gun away as he pulled the trigger, sending a spray of bullets into the elevator ceiling and past her into the hallway. Rosie skittered away from the bullets and wisely fell back to the corner of the hallway. She peeked her head around the corner and watched as Lisa continued to fight. Rosie knew that taking a stray bullet to the chest was a far more likely outcome than being able to help Lisa in such a confined space.

Six guards, Lisa noted as she shoved the lead guard backwards into the others. As they pushed and shoved one another in an attempt to clear their weapons to fire, Lisa bent and grabbed at an ovular object hanging on the belt of one of the guards. She pulled out a pin and tossed the object between the legs of one guard and into the far corner of the elevator. She dove backwards out of the elevator and rolled around the corner. She plugged her ears and out of the corner of her eye, saw Rosie do the same.

A voice called out, "Grenade!" and there were sounds of a furious scuffle as the guards fought one another to get out of the elevator. A thunderous BOOM went off and there was a screech of metal scraping as the elevator shook from the explosion. Three guards staggered out of the swaying elevator, holding their helmeted heads, dazed from the concussion grenade. Rosie and Lisa sprinted up to the remaining YG guards and easily dealt with them, knocking them unconscious. No more than thirty seconds had passed since the elevator doors first opened.

"Hey, what is going on here?" A concerned voice asked behind them.

ChaeLisa shared a look and Lisa turned first around to see a man wearing a half buttoned shirt and shorts peeking around the corner that Rosie had been hiding behind. He stared at the bullet holes in the wall and slowly took in the scene of unconscious guards in shock. Lisa stepped towards the man aggressively. "You want some too?" She asked, balling her fists up. She lifted up her shirt to show the bleeding bandages for extra effect.

With a yelp, the half naked man ran back into his room and slammed the door shut.

Rosie sighed and Lisa stifled a giggle as she walked into the hallway. "Emergency time?" She asked, motioning towards a panel on the wall.

Rosie nodded and began to drag the guards back into the elevator. "Looks that way."

Lisa flipped open the panel cover and rested a hand on the fire alarm. Other heads began to poke out of their rooms as the hotel guests were drawn to the commotion and failed to recognize the sound of gunshots. She pulled down on the fire alarm and a clanging bell rang through the floor. "Fire!" Lisa yelled. "Fire! Fire!" She repeated as she jogged over to Rosie to help her drag the bodies into the elevator.

Lisa and Rosie quickly pulled two of the guards' helmets on, their heads jostled around in the extra space inside. They stood in front of the elevator, blocking direct view of the guards and motioned towards the stairwell further down the hallway.

People began to stream out of their rooms in various states of undress. Some carried coats or clothes in their arms and all were muttering in concern or curiosity.

"The fire is up on the floors above us. Take the stairs down." Lisa and Rosie yelled authoritatively, their words bolstered by the helmets hiding their faces.

Lisa caught a glimpse of the curious man from earlier who was now holding hands with his partner and avoiding making eye contact with them. Eventually the crowd simply began following each other out to safety. It always surprised Lisa to see how easy it was to manipulate a crowd of people.

Lisa peered down the hallway to their room and saw that Harry had broken down their door to take cover during the gunfire and now he and Sylvia were cautiously staring at the crowd of people. She flipped up her visor and waved them forward over the heads of the crowd.
