Sorry for posting so late (or early depending on where you are, if you're even reading this the day it comes out) but the delay was because I decided on a couple of things.
Since the story is coming to an end, rather than leave some details and hints open ended and mysterious for the sequel, I decided to address them somewhat so that everything can feel properly resolved. -I'd like to think one of these hints became a bit more obvious regarding a certain ship this week :) - This is mostly so that every reader can hopefully feel a full sense of closure with the story rather than have to wait for a probable sequel.
As a result, the chapters are getting a bit longer and denser in content. So this week I chose to end the chapter early rather than go far beyond my normal length which required some reworking. But to make up for this, I was thinking of changing to posting chapters twice a week.
I've noticed that it pretty much takes a full week for all my usual readers to catch my update but posting just one chapter a week could lead to a feeling of slow pacing for those who read weekly. And (sadly) since there aren't many chapters left, I wouldn't have to take the workload on for too much longer anyways.
What do y'all think? Do you have any preferences for how you read or comments on how the story has progressed as of late? I could also just literally skip the extra and explanatory stuff and get straight to the conclusion if no one cares for it!
