This morning, I took a bath and put on a casual soft blue dress. I grabbed my clipboard with a stack of new blank papers to fill.I had woken up with a surge of courage today, I was ready for whatever intimidating stare Levi decided to give me. I had a job to do and I wouldn't let a man shorter than me get in my way.
I walked towards his office with confidence, trying to comfort myself along the way. I reassured myself over and over again that he wasn't going to beat me up. He technically couldn't even if he wanted to.
As I was approaching his office somebody called my name, "Y/N!" I turned around.
It was Jorgie, one of the men who I had met two weeks ago. "How have you been adjusting to the environment?" He smiled.
He looked kind. His tall frame towered over me, his eyes were a light hazel color, and his hair was a messy light brown. He was quite handsome.
He was like if honey was a person.
"I've been adjusting just fine...I- I haven't seen you since my first week here" I gave him an earnest look.
"I unfortunately had to participate on a medical mission that lasted...a little bit too long" he sighed, still smiling.
"Oh well, I'm glad you're back, I'll be looking forward to seeing you around" I said softly. "Unfortunately I have some errands to do right now so I have to get going"
"Where are you headed? Maybe I can help" he offered.
"I have to go to Captain Levi's office to ask for his help with something" I pointed at the direction I was going to.
Jorgie raised both of his eyebrows, "In that case I think I'll rather stay out of it..." He giggled nervously.
Ah...so cute...
"He's quite intimidating, isn't he" I said while turning my head at the direction in which his office was located.
"You don't know the half of it" He lowered his voice in a serious tone.
I got shivers down my spine just from seeing how much terror the Captain struck on a manly tall soldier like Jorgie.
We said our goodbyes and I continued my way to his office, now a little bit less confident.
I finally arrived in front of his office, two large doors stood right in front of me, I gulped.
I softly knocked on the door, worrying about not seeming rude.
"Come in" I heard the Captains monotoned voice thru the doors. I slowly opened one of the doors and gently closed it behind me.
He gave me a quick glance.
"What do you want" He said with a bored tone in his voice. He sounded like I had already exhausted him with my unprecedented appearance alone.
He was sitting down behind a desk, with a pen at hand, he had a stack of papers in front of him. I immediately got anxious at the fact that I might be interrupting his heavy work load.
I tried to sound confident as I walked in front of his desk. "Good morning Captain, Hange wasn't available to help me with today's report so I was wondering if you could help m-"
"I'm not available either" he cut me off, while scanning the papers in front of him.
I stood in front of him holding my clipboard close to my chest. I couldn't believe he rejected me so quickly.
"But Captain, Hange won't be able to help me for a few days, this could set back my-"
"Can't somebody else help you?" His cold voice made me tremble.
