I had been packing all day.

Levi and I were traveling to Mitras in the morning, I talked to Erwin about my decision to bring Levi with me, and I had never seen his face looked more shocked.

It was kind of humorous.

I thought he would ask more questions, but he simply nodded and gave me a smile. I hadn't talked to anyone else about my decision, I didn't know how I would tell Hange.

I also had to say my goodbyes to everyone who I had befriended, my mind lingered on Jorgie...

The few days I spent hiding from Reiner and Bertholdt could have been days well spent with all of those I started caring about, now all that was left was to say goodbye.

I looked around my room, everything packed neatly into by suitcases. I paced around making sure I wasn't forgetting anything.

It was time.

I walked out of my room, making my way to the plaza.

Many familiar faces passed by, I said my goodbyes to each and everyone of them.

I walked around trying to find those who I cared for the most, Hange and Jorgie. I couldn't seem to find them anywhere.

I started making my way all the way to the stables, wondering if perhaps they were there.

As I creaked open the door, I smiled immediately at the sight of Jorgie standing there.

"Stable duty?" I walked up to him.

He turned around for a few seconds and smiled back at me, "Yup, what brings you here?"

He was carrying hay into the stables, he seemed to be focusing hard on what he was doing.

"Im leaving tomorrow morning" I pressed my lips together, continuing to smile forcefully.

He paused what he was doing for a second, then gently put they hay off to the side.

"You're done with your job?" He stood there with no expression.

"It seems so" I sighed.

He walked over to me, apprehensively, and buried me into his chest. I closed my eyes, enjoying his comforting embrace.

"Can't you just become a scout and stay forever?" He whispered into my hair.

I chuckled, "I wouldn't last a day"

He pulled away, "Yeah not with those arms of yours"

I pushed him away and laughed, "Come visit me sometime"

"Of coarse" He smiled sweetly.

I nodded.

We parted ways and that was that.

I'm going to miss him.

I was now on the lookout for Hange. I had now looked all over, and she was nowhere to be found.

As I walked down a corridor a felt someone grab my shoulder, I turned quickly.

"Levi? Are you already packed up?" I was relieved at the sight of him.

"I am" His face was wearing his usual emotionless expression.

"I just have to find Hange to say goodbye, and then I'll be set" I looked to my side.

"Yeah, I came here to tell you... Erwin just told me Hange is out on a mission with her squad, she won't return for a few days" He explained.

I stayed quiet for a second, "What?"

"I'm sorry" He blinked.

"I suppose...I could send her a letter..." An intense wave of sadness rushed over me.

I'm going to really miss Hange.

Levi's eyes didn't stray away from mine, I looked down trying to suppress my emotions. My eyes suddenly got watery.

"You're not dying, we can visit you when we can" Levi placed his hand on top of my head and patted me gently.

"Yeah, you're right" I blinked the tears away and breathed in sharply trying to compose myself.

The next day me and Levi got in a carriage and made our way to Mitras. My heart was filled with fear and excitement.

What will my parents think of Levi Ackerman? A man brought up in the underground. Humanity's strongest soldier. A man who I not long ago hated.

What will everyone think of me bringing home a scout?

"Are you nervous?" I looked over at Levi.

His jet black hair, soft and perfectly combed, framed his face neatly. His eyebrows furrowed slightly. He glanced over at me and parted his lips to say something, but nothing came out of his mouth.

He seemed to be thinking of a response.

I smiled a little, "Please don't be"

I reached over and grabbed his hand. I held his hand and started thinking about the rough texture of it. I started caressing every single injury, every single sore, every single rough patch. I wanted to comfort him as much as I could.

I peeked through the window, we were almost there now.
