The scouts were preparing for an expedition. Hange and Jorgie kept me updated on everything about it.

From what I had heard, it was going to be a short mission to the outside, to try to capture titans. If I wasn't friends with Hange and Jorgie I'd be babbling about how stupid this mission was.

In my mind, I couldn't understand why capturing monsters was important, how many scout lives would be lost just to toy around with some soulless creatures.

But now that it was my friends who were on the frontlines, I was...very nervous.

I knew that these two, and all of the other scouts that I have gotten to know could take care of themselves...but I still kept thinking about all the things that could go wrong.

I tried to push it to the back of my head.

Nothing will happen. Everyone is going to be fine.

The day before the big expedition, I sat down for dinner with Hange. To my surprise, Captain Levi decided to join us.

"Look who decided to join us" Hange said humorously overly excited.

Levi placed his plate of food on the table and sat down greeting Hange.

He purposely didn't greet me.

I rolled my eyes and focused on the plate in front of me, completely disconnecting from the conversation that they were having without me.

They started talking about tomorrow's expedition, I could faintly hear them.

My head was too full of thoughts.

Ever since I arrived, Levi has given me a tough time for no reason. Nobody in my life had ever treated me this poorly. His attitude pissed me off. So. Fucking. Much.

I felt Hange elbow me gently, "Y/N?"

"Uh- huh?" I snapped out of my own thoughts.

"I was just saying you were probably going to be so bored here by yourself for these next few days" Hange chuckled. "You're probably going to be so bored without me" She smirked.

"Oh...yeah, It's probably going to be boring being here alone..." I tried to compose myself, finally meeting both hers and Levi's eyes.

"Poor little princess" Levi looked at me, with those condescending eyes he always has.

I wanted to say something snarky back to him, I wanted to let him know that I knew he was making fun of me, but I suddenly remembered what he was going up against tomorrow.

Oh dear lord please I hope he gets eaten by a titan.

"Honestly..." I turned my head away from them, fighting everything in me not to release all the pent up frustration I had been accumulating from Levi's attitude towards me.

"...Honestly I probably will spend all those days just worried about all of you" I tried my best to act like I didn't hear Levi's sarcasm and faced down in defeat.

Hange smiled brightly, "Aww Y/N! Don't worry it will be a short expedition, we will be back in four short days"

I hope Levi doesn't...
