I quickly filled a bag with half of my clothes. I didn't know how long I'd be hiding at Levi's so I took all of the essential things. I still left some stuff just in case someone like Hange would barge in my room for some reason.

I turned to Levi, who was in the corner of my room just staring out the window.

When he said he would stay by my side at all times I guess he really did mean it.

I finally stood up holding all my belongings.

"I'm ready" I said while waiting for Levi.

"Took you long enough" He taunted.

"Unnecessary!" I told him off.

We walked back to his office. He seemed calm and driven. I was looking around at all directions making sure nobody saw us.

"Calm down, everyone's in training today" He crossed his arms.

"Why aren't you in training?" I questioned.

"I told Hange to take my squad today, I told her I fell ill" He explained.

We arrived at his office, he opened the door for me and I walked in. I directed myself to his room.

I placed all my things on the ground next to his couch. From my bag I took out a soft pale blue blanket I had and put it on top of the couch.

"Already decorating the place?" Levi walked over to me.

"No I'm just making the couch comfortable, I have never slept on a couch...it seems like it will be comfortable enough though yours looks bouncy" I said enthusiastically.

Levi clicked his tongue, "I won't make you sleep on the couch"

I blushed immediately.

"Huh?! What do you mean?!" I waved my hands around.

"I'll sleep on the couch you can take my bed" he walked over to the unlit fireplace.

I exhaled in relief, "Oh...Right!"

Levi turned to me and gave me a suspicious look, "What did you think I meant...you perv" he turned back to the fireplace.

I laughed nervously.

"But I will be taking this" He reached for my pale blue blanket and started spreading it out in the sofa.

I smiled, "My mom got that for me, I've had that since I was a kid"

Levi caressed the blanket with his thumb. He started being more gentle with it, "You never speak about your mother, why is that"

My smile faded a bit.

"My parents got divorced when I was younger...my mom took my brother and my father took me"

Levi frowned, still holding the blanket.

"But it's ok!" I smiled at him again, "The family still gets along, we see each other in special occasions"

I walked over to the window, the sun was setting.

Levi started fixing the fireplace. I went over to the bathroom and changed into my night gown. As I was alone in the bathroom, I kind of snapped back to reality.

Being in the same room with Levi over night is kind of strange. Is it also wrong for me to be taking his bed? How is he going to sleep on the couch?

I walked out to see Levi standing in front of a lit fireplace. He noticed that I came out so he quickly shifted towards his own wardrobe.

He locked himself in the bathroom to change into his night wear also.
