Levi and my father had been out all afternoon.

A lady had arrived to the estate to deliver the dress that I would wear tomorrow. Every year my mother would buy me a beautiful and incredibly expensive dress. It would always be beautiful, I trusted her judgement always.

This year, she had sent me a gorgeous red dress, slightly revealing on the bust. It was very extravagant. A matching corset also.

I put it away. And then spent some time reading to pass the time until I heard familiar voices through the corridor.

I jumped up from where I was seating and quickly made my way to them.

They had finally came back, my father saw me approaching.

"We had a wonderful time, we found these one of a kind ties, Mr. Ackerman here has incredible taste for ties I told him to pick one out and he picked out the best one-" My father smiled widely as he told me about his time with Levi.

I looked at Levi with a sight of relief.

"Are you guys hungry? The table is ready" I looked at both of them with endearment.

"I'm starving" Levi answered while walking towards me.

My father walked over to the dinning room, "Yes let's all eat"

We all sat down for dinner and I immediately saw a change in my fathers attitude towards Levi. The two of them spoke for hours about the most random things. My father managed to get him talking about finances and how the royals are managing them poorly. And Levi got him talking about tea and how black tea was superior.

They were surely bonding. I was extremely happy knowing that the two most important men in my life were getting along.

As it got dark outside, we all finished our dinner and made our ways to our rooms. My father's room was in the west wing, while mine and Levi's was in the east.

I said goodnight to both of them and I climbed into my bed.

I looked up at the ceiling for a few minutes, I thought about tomorrow, and how now it was more excitement that I was feeling than nervousness, and I thought about my mother and my brother, how would they react to me bringing a scout home.

I closed my eyes and immediately opened them back up.

I shot up from my bed, knowing well what I wanted to do.

I walked out of my room, making as little noise as possible, I started walking over to the guest room.

I slowly opened the door. I entered and saw Levi sitting on the ground, next to the bed.

"Is the floor comfortable?" I closed the door behind me.

"Extremely" He simply responded, his head leaning on the edge of the bed.

I slowly made my way next to him, and plopped my body onto the floor. We both were facing the giant window, the window was semi-open, a slight breeze was entering the room, the sheers majestically swaying inwards.

"All ready for tomorrow?" His soft voice broke the short moment of silence.

"Yes..." I looked down apprehensively. "...not ready for what comes after tomorrow though"
